hey (: it seem's you're into post-rock a big deal, so I felt like recommending something. you might wanna check out Cloudkicker (especially his albums 'Fade' and 'Let Yourself Be Huge'). supposing you have no trouble with proggy music, you won't regret (:

Hi there, hope you had a good Christmas and New Year. I was staying with family and my mum and sister in law did most of the cooking but still a busy though enjoyable time :) It's back to work now and starting to feel like I've never been away!

Like you I find it hard to pin down a few classical favourites (though it has to be said the Vaughan William's Tallis Fantasia is one of my favourite (possibly the most favourite) pieces. As for composers, I tend to go for romantic / early 20th century like Sibelius, Rachmaninov, and Dvorak. I also like Tchaikovsky and Wagner (I know what you mean about not the man), and I'd certainly list J.S. Bach, Vivaldi and Mozart among my favourites though I've generally listened to less earlier music - it's something I should explore more of. I tend to like less of the very modern music (e.g. Boulez, Birtwistle, Maxwell Davies), except for the more meditative composers like Tavener and Pärt. That said, I've been inching into more modern territory with some mid-20th century composers like Shostakovich and Barber. I've not tried Spotify yet, though a friend at work was recommending it... buying CDs is still the primary way I get new music into my library!

People seem to drop off the neighbours list and randomly reappear, I'm never quite sure why unless it only looks at recent plays. What kind of classical music have you listened to?

so,i listen two songs of them,"Where the truth lies" starting calm and then at 1:30 great change which i like and then back at 2:55 slow again and melodic :) "Scrolling in mind images...." was all the times in the same mood ,i expected some change , Surely "Where the truth lies" impressed me :)
