Is Kyle's pending album the next step to JPJ's mando use in Led Zep?! Maybe. I just love the songs that Kyle is writing/re-working for his 2010 rock n' roll solo debut album featuring the mandolin as a full-fledged lead rock instrument. Kyle's indie sound and high, powerful and emotive vocals are sure to appeal across many genres. I highly recommend Kyle's new music to fans of indie, alternative, classic rock, alt country, and prog rock. Kyle is based out of Nashville TN and was formerly the mandolinist and lead singer/songwriter (+ Tim May) for the cutting-edge newgrass band Crucial Smith who, in their heyday in the 1990s, played Telluride, Winfield, the IBMA, etc. Check out Kyle's Facebook fan page at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kyle-Wood-Newgrass-Mandolin-Rock-2010-from-Nashville-TN/213577402702 for in-studio video.
