Hi Trey! Real Estate came by in March, but I couldn't go. Maybe next time! I do have tickets for the Osheaga indie music festival next month. Can't wait to meet new artists! Thanks for visiting and leaving a shout. Sorry if we have low compatibility. I do like The Dollyrots (new to me). Try Morningwood. See you around L.fm! :)

Thanks for the LP suggestion. I loved it! Night Like This and Into the Wild I played. Very good! Never heard of her. Thanks again - will be playing more of her. I owe you!

Hey, didn't know you were such a fan of The Sounds! Great band. Like their last album, but my all time fav is Dance With the Devil. Love that song! I see you got Blondie at #7. Haven't gotten Ghosts of Download. Obviously you like it. I've been a fan but the last couple just haven't done anything for me. Would you recommend it? Take care and have a great night!

Hey thanks! I just saw that one today and it looked interesting, just couldn't remember the name for the life of me. I'm loving the Both, being a fan of Aimee Mann, I knew she wouldn't let me down.

I like them, too (Bleached)! I've been listening to kind of a weird combination of brand new cutting edge stuff, mixed with ancient guilty pleasures. But that's pretty much par for the course with me ;-) Hope you're having a great week. ~J.

Hi, Trey. Thanks for the visit! Yeah, just got into the Rubens - really like them. Expatriate pretty good, but not as good as the Rubens. Have to give your radio a play again, never heard the Dollyrots. Know your a big fan of Powderfinger, but no plays for Bernard Fanning. His 2 albums are great. Not as good as Powderfinger, but still great. Take care and hope you hear something that grabs you on my radio.

Didn't realize you were such a Powderfinger fan. Most Americans have never heard of them. Excellent band. Good to see the Willie Nile at #13!

Hey, hey! Always happy for you to drop by. I think I had blasted all the new stuff off the front page sweet spot, I hope you were able to find something! I am definitely enjoying Pascal Pinon, Angel Olsen, Motorama and Jagwar Ma. Maybe one of those will tickle your fancy.

    I suppose it's alright if it's a rock garden.

I don't follow all the new releases the way you do, so it's hard for me to speak to my favorite new album of 2013, although I can more easily speak to my favorite new-to-me music. That said, in new albums, I liked those by Alkaline Trio and The Sounds. I think The Dollyrots' acoustic album counts as new, as it didn't become available until earlier this year. It's a good one. :) As for new-to-me, I'm appreciating the fact that Spotify records the date that you star something. Of those, I'd say I got the most enjoyment out of The Evening Rig. Good stuff, working that country rock sound that I rediscovered in the past year and a half. Note: Just checked my email and download, and, yeah, the acoustic album was Sept. 19. Definitely new.
