Oh, the suit looks very cool! I'm almost done with it, i've got the over stitches to do and i'll be good! the fabric i chose is a vintage heavy merino wool herringbone from the 50s, quite amazed by the quality of it! Oh, that jacket sounds amazing! :) is it vintage? Boy, you got some style on you!! ;) i find the jacket/turtleneck combination to look very sharp, in a merseybeat way! Or else, i think any vintage/or not button-down shirt with a print is nice (depending on the colour of your jacket). I have 3 vintage cameras actually; two from the 60s and the other from the 70s/80s. The first two are classic exata's, one with a big flash and the other with its 50/2.8 semi auto tessar lense. the other one is a vintage polaroid i got at a church bazaar, with about 15 packs of films. They all make really nice pictures but i have to say i have a penchant for the one with the big flash :) toodle-oo!! xx

Haha, well, i take all orders on 'sur mesure' suits ;) as a matter of fact i'm working on one at the moment, for a friend! the main inspiration is this beatles picture; http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/_/370098/The+Beatles.jpg. so basically, high button stance, very narrow etc. i'm excited hehe! :) i just finished the pattern, i'll probably start sewing tonight. Oh, that's cool, you have experience with many mediums! I can't say i have. I'm mostly into inks, pencils and photography (not digital though, with vintage cameras). Also I know Illustrator fairly well, since we had to do a lot of our sketches for my fashion classes. And i did all my portfolio with the help of it aswell. You poor thing! no heat on freezing days! Haha, that actually sounds a lot like here, i live in a 1800s flat and the walls are vvvvvery thin, not exactly winter-friendly. Catherine xx

Ohhh, i'm really into Art :) always have been really, i went to an arts-oriented school from 4th grade on to the end of high school. I have a degree in menswear tailor, but since it's awful hard to find a job in the domain, i work on clothing in my spare time (haha, and not that i have that much!). I'm now in history of art, but my minor is visual arts, and i mostly focus on photography and ink drawing. I don't know where that will lead me, but later on i'd like to go in Illustrator, or something alike. I didn't know you were into art either! :) What medium are you into? painting, photography, etc. ? cheers from a particularly freezing cold montreal xx

And at the same time i'd finish my major in history of art there, ah! Hope it all works out. :) i haven't been out much either really, not only because of work, but the 60s club are boring these daysss ... as much as i love modern indie, when i go to a soul all nighter, i don't expect to hear razorlight all night long! oh well :) good to hear from you!! xx :)

There has been nothing special going on recently -_- Haven't been in a Soul (or '60s) night (or club) for a while. 'Cause there ain't any around, too. Wanna dress up and groove on again! Hehe, i'm really back on last.fm now ;) Had the call of the wild and had to come back bahaha. Oh the album is a must-buy! :) along with Initials BB, there are great songs on that one aswell, and the eponymous track is great. I remember that article in one of my aunt's old french magazines, about francoise, that stated how every french girl wanted her as a big sister, and all french boys wanted to be with her, yet she was singing songs about being lonely, and unloved hehe. I'm not sure werther or not Gainsbourg wrote Tous les garcons, but still, it certainly is a great song. The video is great aswell :) Yes, i'm taking german classes! I'm working on this project, with school. In about a year or so, i'd be moving to germany for a while, to teach english to little kids.

Awww, no no it's not a stupid question at all! As a matter of fact, no, i don't have many friends with similar taste in music/movies and the like lol! Although i have this one friend who'll anywhere because he's just open to anything new, so we often end up going together. Haha, sorry about pushing the boundaries of last.fm shoutbox privacy ;) i'm going to be a bad ass and shall reoffend; what's poppin' in lovely germany? bahahaha :)

Luuuuucky, no snow until january! haha here it's winter wonderland from mid-november (oh how i dread mid-november!!) on to my birthday (late april). It didn't really snow just yet though, so i'm happy. Ughh, i've been working 2 shifts in a row (i don't know if i've mentionned this before, i'm a part-time medical secretary at an emergency), i've been here since midnight, and i'm here till 3PM. More money more vinyls i guess. Ah! Funk/RnB! :) I love Stevie Wonder, but i LOVE Curtis Mayfield, especially the first 2 albums. 'We people who are darker than blue' has this amazing beat in the more 'rhythmed' part towards 1:35 (haha, can you tell i listened to it a lot?) So, did you go to the Blood Red Shoes gig? kisses from rainy, shitty montreal.
