My 10,000th track kind of slipped by without me really noticing. This time I saw it coming and wanted it to be something special.

Another survey/favorite list, why not? Have your media player break your music down by year and then look at your collection. Post your favorite album for every year you actually have an album from. If you have only one track off an album then you can't well say you enjoy the album can you so just skip that year? Also try to keep it to actual albums, rather then remix albums, singles, live albums, or compilations. And finally, we're not even half way through 2008 so just don't include it.

I got myself a ps3 last month and just a few days ago I found out how to use it to access all the music that was on my pc and play it out in my living room. I got my Theodor Bastard album in the mail today and i must say that it was well worth the wait. Pustota is absolutely beautiful, full of subtle sounds and wonderful female vocal work. It reminds me of the older Delerium albums, before they stopped being good. The lyrics are Russian but the vocals often carry a very middle east feel at times.

If you have an ear for beauty then you should check it out.

I’m listening to the new Radiohead album right now. I downloaded it for free from their site a while back and promptly forgot about it. What made me think of it is the new Saul Williams album that was also released for free over the internet which I downloaded and promptly listened to.
