LOL well you don't necessarily have to lay off it. I feel like I'm in a music slump lately like I'm in between phases and don't know what I want to listen to so I'm just trying to find new stuff.

Wooo Canada! And yeah I listen to them a bit. Lately I'm into more lo fi, punk-ish stuff. What's Tame Impala like?

Musically speaking, it was quite enjoyable. If you don't mind my critique though, I would have prefered if the vocals were stretched out over the full song, as opposed to them feeling cramped together in rapid succession near the middle of the track. Otherwise I thought it quite stellar. A hypnotic quality to it.

"Tis a sign! I would snatch up Turn on the Bright Lights as soon as possible. Also, I finally got Wild Nothing's "Gemini" and it's fucking stellar! I'm so glad, I had high expectations after his listening to his EP for nearly a month straight. Oh, and do you perhaps like the genre House? Bands like The Bloody Beetroots and Justice are pleasing me greatly at this moment in time. They have such a skull shattering crunch of a bass goin' in most of their tracks. Hard to stay away from.

I prefer the Crystal Castles older album but the new one is good too. Emeralds is the same 'ol loopy synth, new album is pretty much on par with their older stuff yet the songs are shorter. And Blonde Redhead and Azure Ray is some awesome shit lol. Blonde Redhead is, I dunno, Indie Rock/Dream Pop maybe? Azure Ray is a duo, they do some Dream Pop stuff as well. Diggin' into them at the moment.

My brother's not too into the National's vocals either, a lot of people like them for sure. I'm pretty sure their album ranked top five in the Billboard charts http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5191524/Japandroids_-_Post-Nothing_(2009)_[Lossless_FLAC]

OH YEAH. Interpol is great. Their debut really is as good as it's made out to be. It didn't hit me at first (Rarely do I fall in love with an album on first listen, as the best always require magnificent attention and appreciation for subtleyty), but after it did, I was shocked at how much I loved a band I never really gave a second thought to. As for our shouts, I do believe this will put us right back at even territory. Your move...Hahaha

Funny you mention leather jackets, I just inherited a couple from my uncle the other day. Delicious articles of clothing, leather jackets are. And yes those two albums are absolutely stunning. Particularly Astrocoast. So fucking perfect. Big Echo is taking me a little while to fall in love with, although I feel the same vibe from that album as I did from Veckatimest when I first started listening to that one. And now it's one of my favorite albums ever concieved. So I'm pretty excited to see where my relationship with Big Echo is in due time...Did you like Gorilla Manor by Local Natives? That's definitely a favorite of mine this year. As well as Treats by Sleigh Bells. Come to think of it, Contra by Vampire Weekend was a knockout as well. 2010 has been good us, hasn't it my friend.
