I'd love to chat! I don't have Skype though, but we could use Facebook if you want? (I hope I'm not scaring you away now) Or I could just install Skype if you like that better ^^ Right now I'm planning on watching a movie though, but after that (in ~2 hours) I'll be back online, or else any other day is fine too of course :) And it's totally awesome that you know Shining, it's probably one of my favorite bands at the moment (the Norwegian Shining that is, I haven't checked out the Swedish band yet).

Heh, I understand you can't come to the Netherlands, I'm pretty low on finances myself, so I'm not sure if I'd be able to come to Lithuania either... I'd love to though, I've never been there and I'm really curious about the country and what the music scene is like there. If I ever decide to go, I'll definitely let you know, I'd love to get a tour ^^ Also, I'm just looking at this year's lineup for Brutal Assault, and I'm seeing Soilwork, Iwrestledabearonce, Shining, TesseracT, The Ocean, Amon Amarth, Gorguts... looks totally awesome, And it's only 64 euros for 4 days! If I had a job I'd buy a ticket right now :p But I'm still cautious, I don't want to spend all my money at once, and I'd also like someone I know to go with me, because going alone would be a bit too much I think. By the way, I see Shining is playing on this year's Devilstone as well, I really recommend checking them out if you ever get the chance, these guys are totally insane.

Oh awesome! I've seen Hidden Orchestra live, and I can highly recommend it, they're amazing live. About AAL, I have exactly the same thing, the theme from Physical Education is actually pretty damn catchy. And yeah, I love festivals. I've been to quite a few rock and metal festivals, but lately I haven't been to much. But today, I ordered tickets for Pinkpop, which is actually a highly mainstream festival in my home country, but there's a few acts I want to see (Arctic Monkeys, Robert Plant, Limp Bizkit (kinda)), and I'm going with friends so it's gonna be fun no matter what. And I'm thinking of going to North Sea Jazz (also in the Netherlands), for acts like Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau and Dirty Loops (these are really awesome, check them out if you don't know them yet), but I'm not sure yet because it's pretty expensive. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to Pinkpop, it's been too long since I've been to a music festival. So what about you? visit a lot of festivals?

Well, I must say I still love the record, there's a lot of great songs on there. It's just that so far, none of them are stuck in my head like Thoroughly at Home or Wave of Babies are. And yes, I agree, we do really have a crazy amount of artists in common. Especially scary since some of these artists are totally unrelated to one another. I really didn't think there were people out there who liked both Hidden Orchestra and Meshuggah :p

Yeah same here, I never expected to find anyone with the same tastes in both metal and jazz, and a bunch of other bands that can't really be categorized in either (King Crimson, Type O Negative, Massive Attack... just amazing :p) I haven't listened to the new AAL that often yet, but so far, I'm really happy about it, especially hearing some more jazz in the mix is really nice. Pretty much all the songs sound great to me so far, only I'm suspecting that it's a less "catchy" album overall. I might be wrong on that one though, I'll need to listen to it more often to find out.
