oh yeah no problem dude. haven't heard or seen you around in a while. Jacco is great, The Skywalkers were his previous band, you might like them too. Foxygen is like the only other band i know that sounds like that. it kind of sucks cause I dig it a lot. I love the whole Psychedelic Pop approach, rather than the whole drown it in reverb sound.

Ah. Because I was looking at Grade-A_aspies page and I saw a shout and it sounded like we might have went to the same school. Sorry to bother you.

Alberta's curriculum must be different than yours, I did the Crucible in Eng 20 last year. Twas alright, the worst part of Eng 20 was fricken Jane Eyre. I finished with a 98 in Eng 20, but Alberta doesn't do the a,b,c,d scale, only percentages. I'm a little worried about Eng 30 next term, seeing as our diploma final is actually difficult when compared to the rest of the world. We have to write 2 complete essays in under an hour (or maybe an hour each, I forget) and memorize quotes from novels on a variety of subjects, and hope the subject you must write on is one you studied. It's usually the generic 'write an essay on 'hope'' or 'write an essay on 'courage'' but it still remains intensive. It's also 50% of our grade, meaning I can't just BS my way out of it with in-class essays and a MC final. gah.

This may be weird to ask but what state do you live in?

Really? That sucks. English is a fricken boring class too. You're in what, Grade 10? Besides A Streetcar Named Desire, my 10 course was horrible.

If you ever feel stressed out and you can't finish a project on time, here's a hint: Take a random .mp3 music file, change it to .docx or .ppt or whatever, and e-mail it to the teacher saying it's done. By the time they get to it (a few days later at least), they'll be like 'it's not opening please resend it'. By that time you'll be finished, you resend, no late marks no problem. I'm a huge procrastinator too and I resort to this a lot.

Schoolwork does suck, but I've been listening to so much music this term, it's almost rivalling what I did over summer. I always listen doing homework, tests, work in class, and two one hour commutes to and from school. Speaking of tests, John Fahey is perfect for focusing during a final or something. I'm hypersensitive to sound and smell, so I actually need an iPod for tests as it removes distractions for me. /ramble.

How'd you like dat King Creosote/John Hopkins? I think it's a strong release, JVs Beard recd me it a while back. Also, have you gotten to Scott Walker yet? I highly reccomend both as they're both on my top 100 albums.

They are neither noise or rock. It's avant-opera, best I can describe it. Listen to Tilt first, then go to Scott's earlier work if you want something more accessible, or go to The Drift if you want something more avant-garde. Oh, and only listen to those albums at night.

Maan. I want to see some Herzog films, but I can't obtain any subtitled ones. Also, that is pretty cool, even if it was 50 bucks.

Duder, my scrobbles are of absolutely no indication of how often I listen to shit. I'm either kickin' music on record, CD, cassette or my ipod. Hardly ever on my computer. Hosianna Mantra is a masterpiece but Aguirre is my all time favorite.
