Gen 12 2010, 19:02It was annoying me enough to warrant this. And yes, I probably spelt something wrong in the creation of this image, for deliberate irony.

Nov 26 2006, 17:19Mighty day, folks! I can not believe my eyes! As you well know, most people in the world have an iPod and today I thought to myself, "There's bound to be some silly groups associated with iPods" so I searched "iPod" in the group search feature. I was expecting bad stuff...but I have to say my eyeballs nearly fell out after seeing the result.
Here's a link, if you don't believe me! Linky
Now, the expected was there...
even "iPod Deutschland" I could sorta predict, but there was also groups for various generations of the product and even worse still, a group entitled "iPod U2 Special Edition"! The description? "Owners and Fans of Apple iPod U2 Special Edition".
WHAT THE HELL?! I may as well make a fucking group for owners of a 2B fucking pencil or a bottle of Cillit Bang, for pity's sake! The group, btw, had an incredible 21 members.
However, this is not the worst of the groups I came across, by a marathon, there were two worse groups.
Firstly, iWish iHad an iPod. This is a group for people who would quite like an iPod, but don't have one. Here they talk about how close they are to buying an iPod shuffle. Again, I ask the question "...What?!" This doesn't make any sense, whatsoever...everybody in the world (approx. 6,000,000,000) wants many things. A lot of people want money, a lot of people want an attractive wife/husband and others just want food and water. I don't think these people have last.fm groups. One small desire for a material object should not be the subject of a fucking musical group. It's pathetic! iWish iHad an iPod has an amazing 64 self obsessed members.
Secondly, and somehow even more stupid, is the "iPod Apriciation Society". Wow. Just sit back and take a look at this group. "How in the hell could anyone spell that wrong?!" You might ask. I just...don't have the answer. The description is "Probably the best iPod apriciation society in the world!!!" I don't think that there are any other iPod apriciation societys anywhere in the world mate. But seriously, the Concise Oxford Dictionary has been reduced by £6.80 on Amazon and you should all take a look.
Anyway, what do the six members of this group do? Well, they have a thread in their forum entitled "Essential iPod Tracks". Here they name tracks they like. That's right, they name songs they like to listen to (as indicated by Last.fm, one of the basic services of the site) and these songs qualify for Essential iPod listening! So, put the songs you like on your iPod and listen to them! Does this make sense at all? Does it?
The groups image ^ *shudder. Frankly, this group is embarrassing to look at. I can't say much more about it. It's awful.
The worst thing is, these arn't even the worst of the groups that lie out there, in the barren wasteland of the new last.fm scene.

Mag 3 2006, 17:40Muse's new album will be Black Holes and Revelations, released on the third of July. If you didn't already know this then now you do.
I am starting to really love Origin of Symmetry almost as much as Absolution. I think Muse are brilliant, so obviously I'm really excited about this. But I'm disappointed as it is released at the start of my month long holiday V_V Hopefully they will have it in Tesco's in Slovakia.
The new album is said to be more upbeat and happy, which I am a bit worried about, but I trust it'll be as good if not better than the previous albums, which were much more gloomy. Here is the current known tracklist:
1 Take A Bow
3 Supermassive Black Hole
5 A Soldier's Poem
9 City Of Delusion
11 Knights Of Cydonia
They sound suitably Muse-ish don't they? Also, some will be political, which pleases me.
If you want some good Muse songs, my personal favourites are The Small Print and Plug In Baby. Give them a shot if you haven't heard them.
