Did you watch el derby today? Madrid is playing horrible. Who would have thought that by adding two of the best players at the world cup your team would get worse? Madrid should sold Isco instead their only good CDM. Its a shame because a tie with Atletico would really improve Barcelona's chances for the title.

Due too poor preparation and a completely new set of players we didnt do well. I think that if we dont win tonight our current manager will be sacked.

oh groovy! i've been meaning to check out that album. i have taken some intro courses which actually introduced me to some art history/technique, but i can't say i actively keep up on my own time or anything. i am taking two more this year (early medieval + asian), so that will be fun. personally, i think you need not know too much. if you're looking at something and it strikes you profoundly, it's already a nice feeling. my favourite period is probably high renaissance but yes, i love Magritte too. i also tend to favour portraits/people versus landscapes, but i find a good scene nicely complements characters as well. how about you?

JAMC and Black Tambourine together, sounds absolutely dreamy. odd that they would name themselves after such a seminal band, you'd think it was intentional or something. oh, well definitely worth it. yeah, you're correct. i think you had like green and red eyeballs, something psychedelic? and i think bitches brew. i do remember an awful lot, it's almost surprising how much i remember.

... To find their self titled yet, but I think I didn't look hard enough. Dream baby dream is gorgeous, beats the original for me anyday (although I love suicide as well)

I was JW, ended up going on less and less, and then not at all... then the new interface made it pretty much unbearable and eliminated any chance of me coming back. Yeah I did back in January. How were you able to catch them after the show? Was it at a small venue? That's so cool. I didn't get them with Kim though during the Doolittle tour which is such a shame because its one of my favourite albums and I can't say I entirely dig their new stuff and paz (not sure if Kim shattuck was at yours) wasn't the same. Also damn I'm really enjoying black tambourine. Wasn't able

yeah we were! i forgot about all the y!a folk until recently when i stumbled upon a familiar user on some random last fm page i was browsing. i do believe the visible internet music community is rather small in some cases. probably has some six degrees type thing going on... and i can't help but read the shout below but please do share your run-in with the pixies with me so i can live vicariously through it

meant to say, why the rest of the world loves football but America doesn't.

I just got back yesterday, actually. It was a fun time, although we had some complications on Friday to the point where we could not attend the festival that day. But the last two days really made it up it felt like. Glad everything is going well on your end. Its kind of a confliction because in my household and even community, football (soccer) is a big deal. But outside my niche community, nobody could care less about football in America. I don't know why honestly, why the rest of the world absolutely loves it. I guess there's a reason, but I don't really know. Nice! How did those concerts go? Did you meet the pixies again lol. And what do you think of their newer output? And congrats on the passing of your theory test!

Oh and the Brazil - Germany game was crazy. I have never seen such an inofensive brazilian side.
