Yeah average is what I thought as well. He just sounds kinda bland. Not bad but just doesn't have his own style and since the instrumentals are so outspoken it doesn't really match.

With that obviously I mean I really love the new album but just not always sure I like the prog rock like clean vocals.

Hope you like it :) To be honest, I really hope they try another album in the style of Precambrian's style harsher vocals etc. New vocalist had some health issues so this new album was originally contrived as an instrumental version. Do you like their vocalist or not?

Hahaha got a shitload more :3 but I think I got way more 2013 metal releases than any other genre. You a bit into metal? I mean you have some on your last.fm but seems like you don't scrobble everything right?

The Haxan Cloak - Excavation is pretty awesome too, listening to it right now....dark ambient. Also...not 2013 but if you really want some more amazing electronic/ambient I suggest getting the whole discography of em: t records. :) There is a perfect download on rutracker with everything in flac and good tags etc. Also, thanks for Motoro Faam and that Eno/Hasell collab! Awesome stuff!

Cool :) Yeah really worth your while, Aidan Baker has some absolutely stunning albums. I'd start with the album Already Drowning. Yeah, thing is I checked out Immunity back when it got released...or at least it was sitting in my unorganized music folder and when I listened to it again after tagging it properly I couldn't stop hahaha I downloaded his whole discography. Amazing stuff really. I'm really big on techno like that. If you have some more recommendations in that genre I'd gladly take them. :) Also..since you're into ambient...any other artists than that you mentioned or specific albums I might not have checked out? :)

I'm doing well :) Just checking in to see how you are. Was looking for some peeps to chat with about music ;) Been on a binge of a whole lot of stuff lately. Lots of experimental music, techno and doom metal/early heavy metal. Quite a weird combo perhaps :D ...and you?

Isolation is pretty good, I had JVC dx-1000 and Denon D5000 before this but now i am permanently using my custom in year phones. I am actually thinking about selling my ultrasones.

yeah, ultrasones are pretty good headphones and yes they have those ear tearing highs. as for sounstage they fall bit short. i would only recommend them for electronic music tho. why are you going for closed headphones? isolation?
