New Songs, October 11-24, 2009

Old stuff: If You're Not The One.

I downloaded Plain White Rapper thinking it was one song and it was definitely not the one I was looking for. Heh. It will probably be disappearing from my iTunes library pretty soon.

Enchantment Passing Through and Enchantment Passing Through (Reprise). I suspect I goofed and altered the artist name. Because Heather Headley definitely sings along with them.

Scampi. Had I REALLY not listened to this idiotic little song on iTunes until this past two weeks?

Rich Young Ruler - I do not remember this song's existence.
Let Me Drown - I keep forgetting how much I like this song.
Kicking Ass - the last unlistened Hugh Laurie song.
SOS, which I really don't like and should be deleted.
All I Know, which is a goofy typo and should be Jonathan Larson. I need to fix that.

I acquired a few Frank Wildhorn concert/tribute CDs a few months ago. Freedom's Child is from one of them.

I stole a bunch of music from a girl at my school. I was ECSTASTIC to find she had That Thing You Do!. I have been looking for this song for I don't even know how long.

Winter Wonderland, from the amazing Joy CD. I need to bust that out when it gets closer to Christmastime.

Some more Just a Minute

Some more songs stolen from that friend. Sincere (which I then decided I didn't want, and so deleted), Dance With Me Tonight, and Someone to Fall Back On (which I'm excited is in the movie and all, but is seriously disappointing next to Jason Robert Brown's rendition.

Who else is ridiculously excited about Time For Miracles? I love it a lot.

My Life Would Suck Without You, stolen from friend.

Lots of old stuff: You Don't Have To Say You Love Me (the only good performance that girl ever gave), A Young Pretty Girl Like You (which is an extremely awkward but entertaining song), The Message (brings back a lot of memories of junior high, that one), Ut I Natt.

It's Raining on Prom Night and I Want It All, both stolen from friend.

I found the extended version of Werewolf Bar Mitzvah on YouTube and loved it so much I had to have it. Mostly I just love that it exists.

A Little Longer, which I really emotionally connected with during a tough time last January, and then never had it for some reason.

Old: Home Tonight (not sure I've ever REALLY heard this song).

Between You And Me - stolen from friend. Pretty decent cover version!

(It Came From Pain) and (Breaking the Ninth Wall). Really, I KNOW I've listened to these. But somehow all my Commentary! tracks lost their artists, and when I put them back in I did it wrong. Gah.

Falcon in the Dive from SP, Anything Can Happen, and A Woman in His Arms - all Frank Wildhorn concert tracks.

Love You I Do - Again, I must have stupidly changed artist names somehow.

All that gold! - I had forgotten the entire middle section of this song. That I don't listen to it much is pretty clear.

Artists in Library: 4,035. Wow. So apparently a productive couple of weeks.
My guesses as to the new artists: Brian D'arcy James, the imaginary Jonathan Lason, Michael Lanning & ensemble, The Wonders, "Marty Beecroft, Glenn Coulson, Joe Heslip And Peter Luciano," "Aly Michalka & I Can't Go On, I'll Go On," A. Larry Haines, Laura Osnes & Lindsay Mendez, Ashley Tisdale & Lucas Grabeel, Brian & Jenn Johnson, Tracy Jordan, "Joss Whedon et al," Rob Evan, and Tracy Miller. Welcome to my bizarre world of eclectic songs, all you.
