Thanks. A few years ago a blog had the mp3s posted. I can't remember what blog it was, but if you search around I'm sure you'll find one. I'd rip you a copy of my record if I had the proper equipment. It's my most prized record :)

that's rad! how do you copy vinyl onto a computer? that's cool. i didn't even know Dexter was a book first. my sisters really like that show but i've never seen it cause i only have basic cable.

that book sounds interesting. mystical adventures with elves are always fun. lol. right now i'm reading this book called Dying Inside. it's about this guy who has been able to read people's minds his whole life and how it has seperated him from the rest of humankind and pretty much just fucked up his life. now he's 40 and he's starting to lose his power, it's like a part of him is dying (hence Dying Inside) and he's trying to deal with it. it goes back in forth from when he's 40 to his childhood/teenage years/college years/20s/30s. i'm not very far into it but it's good so far.

wow, that's so many authors! that's rad. i think i've heard of William Gibson before. he's a sci-fi writer right? LOTR is great and Ray Bradbury and H.P Lovecraft seem cool. i have a couple of their books that i haven't read yet(Fahrenheit 451, Something Wicked This Way Comes, and The Tomb). i buy both cds and vinyl. i agree about the artwork and discs looking a lot better in vinyl format but i still buy cds cause i like having a small portable copy that i can listen to in my car and burn onto my computer. i have bought numerous vinyl that didn't have a download code and i was pretty pissed cause i couldn't listen to it on my ipod or anything... haha i hate contacts too! i've never had them. i just don't wanna touch my eyes.

nice. what books did you download? even though books are a lot cheaper or even free like you said on kindle i just can't get into that kinda thing. i like to have the physical copy. i read a lot of fantasy and they usually have rad cover art and i love the smell of old books. lol

cool cool. there aren't any independent music shops where i live anymore, the last one closed down a couple years ago so i get to never stumble across old punk comps and 7''/records anymore.

oh i see. i tried looking for some of the bands i didn't know on itunes but i couldn't find anything. ): did you ever finish animorphs? omg the last book totally blowed. i was so mad. i was like "i read 54+ books and this is all i get!!!" but the rest of the series is so great that i just try to forget i read the last book. lol

hey so i just saw your post about video games from a few days ago, i don't know how i didn't notice it til now but whatever. lol. anyways crash bandicoot is awesome! we played it all the time. i also really liked bloody roar. have you ever played that one?

yeah they sound the most like Hot Water Music during HWM's 'fuel for the hate game' and 'forever and counting' era to me. that's cool. the Broadways, Tuesday, and Tricky Dick are awesome! i've never listened to American Football and have heard only one Cap'n Jazz song. are they similiar to the Broadways, Tuesday, and Tricky Dick? i don't think i ever had any of the Achtung comps either. what bands were on them?

ouch... dude "Is Jinxed" is amazing! definitely one of my favorite records. let me know what you think of it. JBB actually kinda remind me of Hot Water Music. are you picking up on that vibe too?

haha oops... at least you didn't get hurt. i've never been snowboarding but i went skiing once and that was a disaster. when i was getting off the lift my skis got tangled together and the tips got caught on the ground and i totally faceplanted. lol. is snowboarding harder than skiing?never surfed either but i've been on a skateboard a couple times. my sports are gymnastics and running and i love watching football(go bears!). have you heard of the band John Brown Battery? they're a really awesome chicago area band from the early 2000s. not a lot of people seem to know about them so i like to spread the word.

hahaha omg i loved Brink! i remember it had a song off of Battle Hymns. i totally wanna watch Brink now. lol. i think i taped it back in the day, i'm gonna have to go dig through all my old vhs tapes to find it. i don't think i ever saw Johnny Tsunami though. my parents were cheap and didn't buy us video games very often but we would always pick up free demos and we used to play the one level on there of Tony Hawk for hours. game was the shit.

nice. yeah i got into ska early on too. i was really into The Suicide Machines 'Destruction By Definition' and i loved Goldfinger's "Counting The Days". the east/west coast scenes are great, i loved all the old Punk-O-Rama and Fat Wreck Chords comps.

that's cool, the Bollweevils are sweet. "fence sitter" is super awesome. haha that's cool that you were exposed to punk at an early age even if there wasn't anyone around who liked it too. it was the same kinda deal with me too except there weren't really websites like Myspace and Last.fm around(at least that i know of) to discover music. i got into Blink 182 from listening to the radio and they listed Screeching Weasel as one of their influences so i bought 'Teen Punks In Heat' from Sam Goody and it all just snowballed from there. lol. i actually discovered Minor Threat when i was 16 at my local library of all places, i just thought the cover art looked cool so i checked it out and fell in love. haha wow this post is long. sorry dude, once i start talking about music it's hard for me to stop.
