Yeah at first I didn't really like it very much at all, but it grew on me a bit. There are still some tracks I'm not huge about though and it's not anywhere close to Juturna or On Letting Go.

I never listened to the first one! I just know there's tons of hype around this one and for some reason I don't get it! Gunna have to give it another spin I think.

So apparently the vocalist for Pianos Become the Teeth is actually a decent singer. Have you heard the new album?

I'll definitely check the new Tycho release out, for sure! If it's even half as good as Dive it's worth a go. // Benji... I'm not really sure, I think the vocals enstill a very love/hate situation, but personally I find album as a whole kinda... clunky. That's not to say there aren't some great moments though! // Think of Worlds as a... tough guy's Owl City (if that's possible). It's got amazing melody and the songs are just fun and catchy as hell. It's worth a once over, without a doubt. It's also caused a massive stir in the dance music community who, I think, were expecting him to put out an album of club "bangerz." But it's the total opposite, you can really listen to it, there's a depth and beauty to it that you don't often find in other EDM. It's awesome, basically haha. // UPDATE THOUGH: A Sunny Day in Glasgow's album is DEFINITELY contending for the top spot this year. I'm also hyped about Pianos Become the Teeth's new album & Whirr have "Sway" coming out sometime next month!

I just started college so I decided to start a new account just as like a fresh start. I'm keeping my old account to look back at. Glad to hear you're enjoying the album, hopefully we can get back together next summer or something and record more stuff. How's the new Maybeshewill?

Totally forgot to check that new Tycho album out! Need to listen to it though because I thought Dive was phenomenal. Yeah, Lost in the Dream is definitely a contender for me too. Definitely make time to check out that Sunny Day in Glasgow album. And although I like Sun Kil Moon, Benji isn't great to be honest. :/ My AOTYSF though has gotta be Porter Robinson's Worlds. It's phenomenal.

It sounds good then! I never really dug Wildlife; I always preferred Somewhere at the Bottom of the River... Not sure why, but perhaaps, like you say, it was too dramatic haha. Even for me, there was too much teenage angst involved. The melodic hardcore scene is getting real stale lately. More than Life's new album wasn't even up to scratch! // My fave album of late is Purity Ring's Shrines. Thought I would mention it and recommend it to you. It's electronic but I think you might dig it (if you haven't already heard it).
