Connor Garvey .... Thumbs Up!
A native of Maine, Connor Garvey is finding his resonance with song enthusiasts across the US. His "winsome way with melody bringing to mind Paul Simon" through songs that "prove you can be optimistic and self-aware without being boring." Leaving audiences uplifted and inspired he carries with him the tradition of acoustic music which Vance Gilbert and David Wilcox both agree is in the right hands with Connor Garvey. He wins song competitions, he fills rooms, but most of all he moves people.

The nights have been so bright with this winter moon glowing. I love the long shadows on the snow from the trees. Now it is time for its waning to give off less of its radiance, still nice to walk at night. I do even in the black darkness and just look up and follow the path in the sky framed by the trees.

Victory (For Now) on SOPA & PIPA!
Last week, we asked you to raise your voice to stop the PROTECT IP and Stop Online Piracy Acts from becoming law because they threaten the openness and innovation of the Internet we all know and love.

Protect the Internet!
Hundreds of thousands of Mozillians did so - and more than 13 million people across the Web spoke out - and because of your actions, both laws have been postponed. They might come back up later, in which case you'll probably hear from us again, but for now, from all of us at Mozilla, thank you for all you do.

Merry Christmas To ALL

And Don't Forget To Pray For Our Soldiers

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Anyone want leftovers?

Snow started coming down Tuesday just before Midnight. It had covered the ground through the night. I woke to about 7 inches lying heavily on the muddy ground beneath. It looked beautiful as it clung to everything, but its weight was too much as the wind blew and we lost power Wednesday evening about 7:00 as I was pureeing pumpkin for our Thanksgiving pie. I practiced my violin by the flicker of candle light, while my daughter drained her hand held game. Early to bed we went to snuggle together for warmth as the heat went out with the power. Sleep was hard with so much to do on my mind and Lizzy was restless. How will I cook the bird if there is still no power by morning? My brain was overloaded with questions and concern. I woke to an elbow to my head as Lizzy shuffled about looking for her stuffed bunny. The night was black except for Lizzy’s glow board that caught my eye every time I looked for signs of the power coming back. At 3: 48 it was back and I had to make sure I was not again dreaming it. I went to my own bed and snuggled in my flannel comforter and tried again to sleep, but now with a better comfort of knowing we would have our thankful feast.

Hail to the sacrificial bird as he filled our tummies with delicious gladness….
Amen….and Thank You!
Thank you for all the greetings and friendships
Thank you for my loving Family and our time together

Thank you Anna for having this for me to share.
I would like to share this with a wonderful woman who has entered the Pearly Gates of Heaven above.
Shirley Dahill was a gifted woman who devoted herself to Jesus Christ
Through her, many children followed her as she inspirered them to also follow and look up to the Heavens and share the love in thier hearts
Shirley was a great lover of nature and she showed the children to use nature in the Arts and Crafts at Sentinel Camp where she loved spending her time
Shirley will be missed by everyone she touched in her 90 years
May you forever sow your seeds in the Heavenly Gardens
and share your Beauty and Bounty among The Kingdom of The Lord
They Joyfully await you

A Day In The Life
I live in the Ossipee Mountain Ring Dike and love living here.
It is so peaceful and unique. I love taking pictures of the wildlife and gazing at the stars.
I also have lived in Maine and still frequently go there. I will someday move back and be near where I love, the Ocean.
For now I am still going over the bumpy roads life put in my path; but I know life is good once I figure out if I should climb over the bumps or go around them. I'll figure it out, but until then I have my music to help me get through it. Whether I am listening to all there is offered or playing my violin, it soothes and comforts my soul.

If I am not here...I am off Chasing Rainbows.......

I Love To Feel The Rain On My Face

The rain is pouring down as Lizzy and I run to the car this morning trying to not get too wet. The dog also runs and jumps in, she doesn't want to get wet either. I am a bit chilled as I drive on my way to begin another day of work once I drop Lizzy off at the entrance to school. Kisses good bye and have a fun day and I watch her run threw a puddle with sneakers on as a woman opens the door for her.

As I drive away I turn up the music and continue down the road with my eyes peering at what lays around me. There is a bright wall of fiery color on both sides of me competing to see which will be looked upon as the most colorful. Its like the world has an aura that I see everywhere and its glow is stunning. The walls move past as I shift from side to side and I breath it all into me trying to savior it for always. The twisting road before me keeps showing me no end to this beauty and lures me on.

I pass the young Llama's just sitting there letting the rain fall on their thick coats shedding off the water with the repelling oils they wear as they just chew. They are silhouetted on the crest of a hill at the Cheney Farm, standing out with their white and black bodies against the gray rainy sky.

I look ahead and watch as the falling leaves dance and twirl in front of me as they are washed from the sky before they take their nap among the other golden layers on the carpeted shoulder of the now soft looking road. Some are rustled as cars drive past, but they do settle and frame the site with gold. Most of the trees are dancing as the wind blows and the rain pours down and Steve Morse plays in my car to the beat of my windshield wipers going back and forth. My Dog, Sister is at my left shoulder watching the wonders pass as we ride threw the motions of all the activity around us.

I come to see the pond on the right so alive as the drops of rain have the surface in a frenzy of splashes and plops as the reflection is broken but still shows its colors. The Ducks and Mergansers must be loving this time as their food must be getting stirred up for easy pickins. Its hard to notice how dark it is for this time of day with all these clouds hovering filled with all this moisture pouring down through the bright aura encircling us with an uplifting color that stands up to overwhelm with tremendous feelings of power. It is power that makes your awareness open to envelope a huge amount of feelings to see how big and beautiful our world is. Its amazing how much you see with your whole being and could never be captured in a cameras lens. I collect the pictures in my minds eye and hold them dear as this is my life as only I see it.

A Beautiful Autumn Day in New Hampshire

Still Love The Music!

Imagine that you had won the following prize in a contest:
Each morning your bank would deposit $86,400.00 in
your private account for your use.

However, this prize has rules, just as any game has certain rules.

The first set of rules would be:
Everything that you didn't spend during each day
would be taken away from you.

You may not simply transfer money into some other account.
You may only spend it.

Each morning upon awakening, the bank opens your account with another
$86,400.00 for that day.

The second set of rules:
The bank can end the game without warning; at any
time it can say, Its over, the game is over!

It can close the account and you will not receive a new one.

What would you personally do?
You would buy anything and everything you wanted, right?
Not only for yourself, but for all people you love, right?

Even for people you don't know, because you couldn't possibly spend it
all on yourself, right?
You would try to spend every cent, and use it all, right?

Each of us is in possession of such a magical bank. We just
can't seem to see it.

Each morning we awaken to receive 86,400 seconds as a gift
of life, and when we go to sleep at night, any remaining time
is NOT credited to us.

What we haven't lived up that day is forever lost.

Yesterday is forever gone.

Each morning the account is refilled, but the bank can
dissolve your account at any time....WITHOUT WARNING.

SO, what will YOU do with your 86,400 seconds?

Aren't they worth so much more than the same amount
in dollars?

Think about that, and always think of this:
Enjoy every second of your life, because time races by
so much quicker than you think.

So take care of yourself, be Happy, Love Deeply and enjoy life!

Here's wishing you a wonderfully beautiful day!!!

Another look at it......

This is AWESOME ... something we should all remember.

A 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud man, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with his hair fashionably combed and shaved perfectly, even though he is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today.

His wife of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, he smiled sweetly when told his room was ready.

As he maneuvered his walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of his tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on his window. I love it,' he stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.

Mr. Jones, you haven't seen the room; just wait.'

'That doesn't have anything to do with it,' he replied.

Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time.

Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged ... it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it. 'It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do.

Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open, I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away.. Just for this time in my life.

Old age is like a bank account. You withdraw from what you've put in.

So, my advice to you would be to deposit a lot of happiness in the bank account of memories!

Thank you for your part in filling my Memory Bank. I am still depositing.
'Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

Have a nice day, unless you already have other plans.

Just something to share.

After having dug to a depth of 10 feet last year, New York Scientists
found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the
conclusion, that their ancestors already had a telephone network more
than 100 years ago.

Not to be outdone by the New Yorkers, in the weeks that followed,
a California archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after,
a story in the LA Times read: " California archaeologists, finding of
200 year old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already
had an advanced high-tech communications network a hundred years earlier
than the New Yorkers"

One week later. A local newspaper in Maine reported the
following: "After digging as deep as 30 feet in his pasture in Aroostook
County, Maine , Bud, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found
absolutely nothing. Bud has therefore concluded that 300 years ago,
Maine had already gone wireless".

Just makes a person proud to live in Maine , don't it.
