Pierrots and Arlequins is a solo album by the Minimum Vital guitarist. It is similar to Minimum Vital but more focussed on acoustic sound. It features very nice vocal arrangements as in Minimum Vital and occasional synth sounds. The material is much influenced from medieval/renaissance tunes. Sometimes you even might be reminded of Anthony Phillips. A beautiful album. The cover illustration on the CD is also noteworthy.
