Hi Anthony, Here is my latest original piece. It is a hybrid sonatina; a mix of blues and classical in 3 movements. The overall title is "Chicago in Vienna". First movement http://www.last.fm/music/David+Tisdell/Piano+Fusions/Chicago+in+Vienna+-+Pinetop+and+Wolfgang Second Movement http://www.last.fm/music/David+Tisdell/Piano+Fusions/Chicago+In+Vienna+-+Muddy+and+Muzio Third Movement http://www.last.fm/music/David+Tisdell/Piano+Fusions/Chicago+In+Viernna+-+Buddy+and+Papa+Haydn Youtube links are enabled on the last.fm pages.

Hi Anthony, Thanks for listening. Glad you enjoyed it. Kirnberger wrote it as a teaching piece which is why it is so short; like musical Haiku. There is a shortage of quality recording of these types of pieces and I am trying to "fill the gap". One of my projects right now is to record the entire "Volume 17 Easy Classics To Moderns" collection compiled by Denis Agay. The pieces vary greatly in length and difficulty (despite the title). On the short end, they are about thirty seconds and on the long side about 4 minutes. I am a little over a third of the way through recording the collection.

Hi Anthony, I just released a new, very short classical track. It is a lullaby by Johann Kirnberger, who was a pupil of J.S. Bach. http://www.last.fm/music/David+Tisdell/Music+For+Piano+Students+Volume+2/Lullaby+By+Johann+Philipp+Kirnberger

You are definitely more ambitious than me regarding Opera. :) I am quite lazy, but also didn't want to invest too much time in this. This scrobbling method was not too hard to find, so I tried it and it worked. Songbird can also collect and download the free mp3's from Last.fm and SoundCloud. So it was doubly worth it for me in the end. :)

Hey :) Still interested in SoundCloud scrobbling? See the solution that works for me now.

Hi Anthony. Thanks for stopping by. I'm always looking for new music to try. Even though our tastes are vastly different, you've got an interesting collection and I will listen to it tonight.

I use the 'retro' GS interface, and there's a 'Radio On' button at the right of the now playing bar. Like in this video. Don't know how to do this on the new interface. (I'm AFC - away from computer.) So I have several songs in the now playing bar, and GS will use those as starting points for choosing new tracks for you.

I get quite a good radio experience if I put several non-mainstream songs that I like in "now playing", and after listening to new ones, marking the ones I don't like with the sad face and removing them.

It is hard to teach a computer to be intuitive. Still, I sometimes find as if GS had that ability. :)

I wrote messages to you on GS. Tell me in case you did not get those.

GS has of course other problems, like bad metadata or - for me it's the worst - that it has many albums screwed up (not all songs are there, some are there multiple times with slightly different names, etc.). I myself was an obsessive perfectionist, but now it seems I managed to recover somewhat and be less bothered by these things. :) Now, if only there existed a free on-demand radio for my non-brand-new Symbian phone... (But that mught be wishing for too much.)

As far as browsers go, another browser can be considered just like any other application on your computer, for specific purposes, isn't it? If your computer has enough RAM amount / CPU speed to not slow down from that, you can run Firefox or Chrome for just a few purposes, like scrobbling from other radios (i.e., if those third-party scrobblers actually work). Have you considered this option? -- Although if you manage to get or create solutions for Opera, let me know. :) But if you have to manually adapt or create such a thing, that might be much more work to do.

Did you use the old or new GS interface when it skipped to scrobble some tracks? For me, it did scrobble all tracks so far in the retro mode. Did you check if there is any bug report option available? Anyway, I guess you have such an extensive taste that it's easy for an online radio to not fully fulfill it. :) But, as a last resort, you can upload tracks yourself to GS if you have them. (Although, I would use a different account for uploading, not my 'personal' listnening account.)

Anyway, have you found any useful tool to Myspace / SoundCloud / Youtube scrobbling? I think if I'll go seeking one, I'll be willing to settle for a non-Opera solution if necessary. Opera is the least supported among big and small add-on devs. Whereas it seems there are MySpace scrobblers for Chrome / Firefox (haven't tried them yet).
