Hmm.... Well I only recently got back into reading and have only read about 5 novels in the last few months, but American Gods is pretty great. Very strange and hugely entertaining fantasy novel, with the core premise being that Gods now walk among us since they're no longer worshiped. They've lost their power and have to fight their battles on Earth's soil, and one guy ends up being embroiled in a war between the old Gods of Norse and Biblical origins and the new Gods of technology that's going to be sparked any second now. VERY entertaining read, and somewhat thought-provoking too. Yeah, Witcher 2 is definitely good. A little disappointed in it's variety of locations, however... There's three chapters and each one is focused around a single, large-ish yet repetitive location, like a run down town or a war camp.

OOO CATCHER IN THE RYE, great book. Most of it is just good, but the ending packs some pretty big emotional punch. Dark Souls looks great but I'm focusing on finishing my back catalogue of games before getting anything new, got a bunch of Humble Indie Bundle stuff to finish and I'm only a third of the way through The Withcer 2. Definitely enjoying the book right now, the way it describes everything is WONDERFUL, and it's approach on the topic of religion is brilliant as well. Highlighted so many great quotes from it already.

Nice nice, and well only got back into reading since I got my Kindle last Christmas, but it tends to lean towards science-fiction and fantasy. Reading Life of Pi right now, probably going to finally get around to either A Clockwork Orange or 1984 next. What about you, what'd you read? What you playing right now?

Sup man, nice Portishead plays! also thanks for reminding me of Townes Van Zandt, i remember hearing some of his songs as a kid and forgot that name! I hate modern country shit but do love some old and dark country music.
