might be wrong though. i think any album that literally 'will not get old' (not the same thing as 'hasnt gotten old') would theoretically be a literal 'perfect album.' i guess i just think no matter 'how great' an album is, humans are naturally incapable of creating anything perfect.

great albums can 'get better with every listen' for a very long long long time. every album eventually goes 'the other way' with enough listens. one wouldn't know though until they have reached that point.

there is no such thing as an album that is 'too good to be overplayed.' dont overplay the Suburbs!

I really like that project :) Which album did you listen to/did you hear both? Act 3 is coming out this year. There's an interview on youtube, but I'm at work so I can't find it right now.

not sure. listend 2 all their albums yesterday and they never scrobbled. had tokyo police club + passion pit 'scrobbling' in the car while at summerfest [via iPod / via seeing them live] apparently i never pressed play though [via being pissed] richard was listening 2 tokyo police club on my laptop b4 i left. not sure if he 'left it running.' it was turned off when i got home.

Yeah, you've been on a tear, man! It looks like you'll pass me up in plays soon. As far as the variety goes, I just love finding new stuff. But I definitely come back to my favorites all the time. Taking little breaks from them almost makes the reunion sweeter.

It was my first time at the theater and you're right, Riverside has terrific sound. I am attending the Flaming Lips concert in April which should be wonderful. And it being at Riverside has me more excited than if it were in the city. Sorry, Chicago.

I just read your review of Vampire Weekend's show at Riverside and I must disagree about the crowd; they were as poor as they were rude to Abe Vigoda. I was in the first row of the "pit" as well, similar to that of your location, and all around me were girls with their cameras out, too busy thinking of Facebook and MySpace to enjoy the experience. Shame on them. But it was a wonderful show and I had a great time.
