I can't say it's been one of my favorite FFs -- I like the older ones like IV, VI, and VII and loved the world in XII. But who knows, I haven't beaten it yet and am so close to the end, that my opinion might change. Maybe I'll even beat it before the US version comes out and justify my poor decision to import it!
