Fri 1 Jun – Deerhoof, Autolux

Short review:

My friends and I went to the Natural History Museum to see Deerhoof, we hung out for a bit, walked around the exhibit, and it was all fun!

SIDE NOTE:
If I was starring at you, I'm sorry. There were a bunch of people that looked familiar at the show, so I kept on looking at certain people to get a good look. I didn't have my glasses on either. I never do.

Autolux:
Weird group. Sometimes I really enjoyed their sound, other times I wanted it to end. overall: 6/10

Fri 18 May – Melt-Banana, Bizzart

The day finally came, and this is the one concert I have been waiting for since at least March. I had to move out some school related stuff to get to this concert, and I had to cancel on some people, because there was no way in hell I was going to miss my favorite band playing.

Fri 6 Apr – Billy Talent

Ok, here we go.

First opening band was called Drive By. They were nice when they were talking to the crowds, kind of funny, but their music is so average. Nothing stood out. They're sound is the sound of every other rock/emo band out there. And their sound set up wasn't all that good. The sounds meshed together making it all…nothing. Just piercing noise. But they were talented at what they were doing. 6/10

Tue 27 Mar – OOIOO, Neung Phak

So, it started with a fairly long waiting to enter. They said "15 minutes left before you start entering." It ended up being about 40 minutes, and they started with Will Call first. No biggie. Got in, was fairly close to the stage, and heard Neung Phak. I enjoyed them. Nice opening band. Very weird, but that's a good thing.

Then they ended, and it began to get a little bit too crowded on the floor. I had no room to just move my elbows from my waist. After about 30 minutes, OOIOO…

This site so far is great for me. I've been checking out some of the requested bands, or "if you like this band, listen to this band" stuff.

I just love to hear new music that appeals to me.
