    Mar 13 2010, 3:14

Hey guys/gals, its been to long. I know I haven't been here much in the past year or 2.. mainly because I have been busy with my life, such as work, and school, I have also been trying to improve my health, which is going along smoothly.

But the main reason I ditched this site was because lets face it, it sucks hard core.. they made all these freckin' changes for nothing..

So thats right, I think its already not really a surprise, but I am done here, I hate to disapoint you or anything, but I have lost interest, and I don't have time for Last FM..

If you NEED to contact me for anything, here is my email....

  • The Train Tracks Are Rolling, AC/DC Is Back!

    Nov 9 2008, 22:17

Fri 7 Nov – Black Ice World Tour

One word can describe the concert : "WOW"

I'm not going to give away too much, because I know A LOT of you are going to be seeing AC/DC. But I'll just give ya a few details.

The Show took place down in Downtown Toronto, at The Rogers Centre, people bagging for tickets to get in. I arrive at the venue about an hour early, buy myself a t-shirt and hoodie and leave. I also got my sister a set of AC/DC horns and such. So my dad and I sat and waited..., waited and waited. Then finally at about 8:00 PM, one of the roadies came out on the PA and said "Sorry Their Has Been A Delay, our opening band (The Answer) will not be playing tonight., AC/DC will be on very shortly"

After that moment, I was so pumped I wasn't sure if I would live to see the first song. Then about a half an hour later, AC/DC roared onto the stage, they had a HUGE introduction, it was very very awesome, I won't say what they did though, since I don't want to ruin the fun :).

Then all these thoughts like "Wow, I cannot believe this!, I'm seeing the band I've idolized for 5 years, and I'll be seeing the very guitarists who are the only reason I play music period up close!" This concert was the first time where I started choking up while they were playing.. How un-manly I know, but hell, I've been a diehard for 5 years, and I NEVER thought I'd get the opportunity.

The band's overall tone, and sound was EXCELLENT, and lemme tell ya, if you decided not to go see them this time around, you will be kicking yourself in the ass. They are back, and they are awesome!

I purposely left a lot, because I don't want to ruin the fun!

My overall rating of the show : 11/10

The extra point goes to the AWESOME introduction and stage work, the band still is on top even if they are into their mid 50's..

One thing I didn't like was the people around and beside me, smoking dope, getting 2 beers each outing.. and most of all, SOME PEOPLE IN TORONTO DID NOT KNOW AC/DC WAS IN TOWN My first reaction was "Are you freckin' serious?, Have you been living under a rock or something.." Like they worked at a restaurant just down the street from the venue..

Anyhow, nuff for now, For Those About To Rock, I Salute You!
  • Um, I Got Your Girlfriend Pregnant..

Following the North American run, AC/DC will visit South American, Europe and Asia, with dates to be announced.

AC/DC's first new single in eight years, "Rock 'N Roll Train", hit the band's web site and radio stations on August 28. A video for the song was shot in London and will premiere later this month. "Rock 'N' Roll Train" is classic AC/DC from start to finish, with bluesy riffs, a rock-solid tempo and a scorching solo from Angus Young.

According to a posting on the unofficial AC/DC web site AC/DC Highway To Hell, a limited-edition "deluxe edition" version of AC/DC's new "Black Ice" will include a blue AC/DC logo and will be packaged in a special hardcover package. It will also come with a 30-page expanded booklet with exclusive new illustrations, studio and live photographs of AC/DC.

ACDC.com has started a brand new feature called "AC/DC 101" which can be found here. This new feature will give you an in-depth look of AC/DC's history decade by decade, and also offers a cool new widget which will have "On This Day" AC/DC news of events that happened through the band's career.

"Black Ice", the band's first studio album in eight years, will arrive on October 20 and will sold exclusively at Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and ACDC.com in the U.S. All three plan multiple promotional campaigns aimed at the group's millions of fans.

AC/DC was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. The band has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide, including 69 million in the U.S. alone.

"No Bull: The Director's Cut", a chronicle of the band's famed July 1996 concert at the Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas in Madrid, Spain, was released on DVD and Blu-ray September 9.

YES!!!!!! Expect me to be going to either the Toronto or Minneapolis show!!! YES YES YES!

  • The Canadian Gov't Is Seriously Mentally Retarded...

    Lug 19 2008, 14:21

Our Government is going to pass a new law that for every cd/dvd we buy, if we want to have it on our PC, we'll have to BUY A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD FOR ANOTHER 10 FUCKIN BUCKS.. No way am I doing that, thats freckin bullshit..

They want us to buy legal.. but why at this rate, I may just stop buying cd's period and switch back to bittorrent downloading, I'd be more than happy to switch, I'd be saving a few bucks, this gov't is gay..

Pretty much, this is what I'm trying to say:

So, yet again the conservatives are looking to restrict our access to personal music, video and other media. The last time they tried this, it was a facebook group that stopped them. And now, the little people are being called on again to put a stop to their ambition.

The new copyright crackdown they are proposing would restrict you in your personal access to your own copyrighted media files. That's right! If you transfer more than one copy of a legally purchased song, video etc onto your cell phone, iPod, mp3 player, etc -- that is now an considered an infringement.

If you have CD's, DVD's, or any type of media that you have purchased, but contains a digital lock provision, you are not allowed to bypass these security features to move the media from one of your personal devices to another.
ie. if you have a favorite CD you want copied to your iPOD, but the cd contains a digital lock provision, enjoy paying for an mp3 download for your iPOD to go along with your CD.

if you have facebook and are against this, please please help us out on this one, join here http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=21591919988

  • Before Bashing SRV, Watch These Videos

    Giu 25 2008, 17:39

If you take a good look around youtube, you will find some very nasty comments about SRV.. so before joining that bandwagon, watch these first..

I know this doesn't happen here to often at all, but it happens on Youtube..

Me, I think SRV could spin circles around Jimi Hendrix if he tried hard enough..

Artist Relations: Stevie Ray Vaughn & Double Trouble,Jeff Beck

  • My Top 5 Favourite Guitarists

    Giu 1 2008, 1:23

I was inspired by Co-Z to make my own list. His list was possibly the best list I've ever seen, I agree on all his least favourites :P. Here's my list:

    Top 5

Jimi Hendrix-Jimi Hendrix,The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

Is it neccessary to explain why.. check out this video

Stevie Ray Vaughn-Stevie Ray Vaughn,Stevie Ray Vaughn And Double Trouble

This guy is AMAZING on the guitar I'd say. He isn't the best technical player, but man oh man he is an AWESOME player in his own bloody way. Lots and lots of soul in his stuff. Check out his duel with Jeff Beck

Jimmy Page-Led Zeppelin,The Yardbirds,Page and Plant,Jimmy Page and The Black Crowes

The List Goes On And On..

I always liked Page. Even before I was a fan of Zeppelin to be honest. He is a very unique player, he isn't a mind blowing player I think, but man I'd kill to see him and Zeppelin again. Rumour has it that there going on a world tour.

    Angus Young-AC/DC

Thats right I'm sure you all saw this coming. Angus to be honest isn't a really good guitar player technical wise or scalier wise. But he is a really really good entertainer. There is just something about this guy I'm not sure what it is, I love his style, I love his stage act. Great guitarist, go check out AC/DC if you haven't already. Rumour has it that there new album will be out late summer/early fall reported by Brian Johnson.

    Eric Clapton-John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers,The Yardbirds,Cream,Derek and the Dominos,Blind Faith,Eric Clapton

This was a tough choice, Angus respectively could have easily taken this spot, but Clapton I think deserves it much more. His playing is just awesome, his solo's make me want to quit playing guitar period.. have fun MathiasPage at the Clapton Concert!
