hi hello. i missed memory tapes! fuck i wrote down the wrong date. and, i'm sure you won't find this too surprising but young ejecta was completely underwhelming to see live. it's just her. i thought she had a drum guy or a synth guy or something, but she just had a micro synth toy of some sort that looked like it was going to break. i liked her stage presence though she did some weird semi-erotic choreography btwn a few songs, and i think she rubbed black charcoal on her neck cos i didn't notice it until a certain point. she's good, but just enjoy her tunes. live is a bit strange. she opened for lower dens, and I haven't kept tabs but lowers dens are amazing. Jana Hunter reminds me of Shannon Funchess! Oh I love queer singer ladies with deep voices. i made my own interpretive dance with a stranger, really good time with Lower Dens. girl behind me meowed- Jana says "oh that's cute" and i said "you're cute" she blushes and hides. ugh it was adorable.

Haha. Thanks for your input! I have no idea. I try so hard to pretend I know what I'm talking about with music anymore. I just live. 'Moonstone' as well as 'Your Planet' are definitely the greatest. I luv Young Ejecta. There is a DJ from Portland called DJ Ejecta, but I think that's not the same one trying to sue for copyright?. It's very confusing to me haha. I'm going to see Young Ejecta and Charli XCX amphitheater concert separated by 2 days. sounds rough. may have to call in sick after

Oh more. Lydia Ainsworth. Damn she is good... I'm so busy I never have time to really enjoy all this music except at work. I gave myself semi-scrobbling ability back but it's usually too much work for me anymore. Reo was at a free concert with Lydia AInsworth while he was telling me about Young Ejecta the other day.. holy shit. I am super intrigued by her. Kate Bush/Enya ish

On another topic, have you ever heard of Young Ejecta? To give you an idea how amazing, synthpop duo consisting of the girl from Neon Indian, and a nu disco producer Joel Ford, who used to do work with Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never) I had a long conversation with an old friend about music, and I guess Young Ejecta is opening for Lower Dens when they play here. Wasn't planning to go for Lower Dens but seems pretty exciting now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkv7oD_WbT8 (formerly just Ejecta) All the stuff with singing is nice but there is also a bunch of quality instrumental stuff I found looking for them.

hi. memory tapes is still a group apparently. i was really surprised, should be interesting. also, i'm completely elated by the fact that i'm going to have the chance to see kraftwerk as long as the world doesn't end before september. should be a good summer. how are you?

Cable Guy's imdb page about all the different names for the movie in different countries is... interesting.

A lot of the dialogue is really cringeworthy though. Also, it Bombed hard in the theaters but somehow gained a cult following.

Yeah. The maxims on that site sound almost exactly like the ones Sphinx from Mystery Men tends to throw around. Captain Conundrum.

I have so many extensions on my chrome, it doesn't seem to do anything. Good god those speakers are expensive.

Oh script probably. I found some open source thing called WAIL scrobbler. Seems to work well at detecting almost all players. I will have to try the SoundCloud thing, I still don't sit down at the computer very much for SoundCloud scrobbles. Need better speakers for my new PC! The thing about Fan Death is pretty funny. I never saw that post, I gave up on them a long time ago. I always had a feeling it was something between Szam and she, and it wasn't just because she suddenly liked fashion. It's sad cos I moved out here partially to be near her (I like to say that at least, it seemed so handy) They booked a Portland date I was going to attend, which was cancelled, probably due to their personal drama. Jeez. I have not listened to any Dandi stuff in years, my last.fm just reflects my lack of usage.

This art group from France had their American debut at Lincoln Hall on PSU campus in Portland, OR at TBA Festival in Sept '14. "Halory Goerger and Antoine Defoort - GERMINAL"

Sounds crazy many times over. No payment from ish company. I would blow them up -with pipe bombs-, or find a lawyer friend to fix them outright. I'm finally figuring out a decent beta last.fm android app. Would like to spend more time concentrating on musical interests. I've become so void of music, my only music vehicle has become seeing things live, and i'm trying to get away from that again. here is a trailer from the best live art i saw this year --> http://vimeo.com/96473750

Hello. I -finally- bought a new computer. I try to exist. You appear to be active on Last.fm. I have very accurate TBA and show journals back now. I've not been out much lately. gonna try to go out more, even though one of my last shows, this old hippie guy threw his beer in my face, at summer cannibals the other night. wtf!
