Aww I bet it was amazing! How many states did you conquer? Oh man I want to go too. I'm alright, the beginning of the year hasn't been the best but I'm optimistic haha.

Glad to hear you liked Huoratron! Yeah I don't know how easy his music is to find for download but one would think it's up somewhere. I feel you with that music jumping about - I sometimes find myself laughing at myself for first listening to Burzum and the next thing playing is something very light and up-beat. Oh I would so need a holiday right now and go somewhere completely new! I have never traveled much, I've spent a week in Germany which was awesome and then I've only visited Tallinn and Stockholm :/ I lovelovelove Tallinn. It's an amazing mixture of old and new. Finland right now is my favorite Finland that it gets to, it's not too hot or cold, the trees are turning orange and the air smells lovely. I just love Finnish autumn but unfortunately Finland is quite boring. But if there's something more specific you'd like to know I'll be happy to tell! If I could go anywhere right now I think I'd go to Gobi desert or somewhere completely random hahah.

Ha, ace I was just bumpin' some Ether! I should really listen to some more of his music but his vast catalogue overwhelms me. Cheers for the add, good things you're hearing.

Hey Venetian Snares reminded me: check out this Finnish electronic/chiptune artist called Huoratron if you want to, he's awesome, maybe not just as dexterous as Aaron but this guy's gig is probably the best one I've ever been to alongside with Patrick Wolf's :) His track '$$ Troopers' definitely makes one wanting to jump around, and 'Cryptocracy' is a bit more innovative.

Hey great to hear you found something worth listening to from my suggestions! :) I haven't heard Middleton's solo stuff but I have to check it out! OH Mondo Cane! Nooo, you almost made me cry now: I had a chance to see Patton and Mondo Cane live few of years ago when they played at this festival held in my hometown but I was suffering of some sort of momentary brain damage and I missed them because i was too busy sitting in the woods drinking booze :'( I have never forgiven myself. Gooosh I'm watching that video now and I really, wow. Patton never fails to amaze me. Hey, now that you mentioned, yes, there actually is a resemblance to Locust Toybox in that Grimes song! Hahah. I really love Locust Toybox indeed, I found it three years ago when pretty much everything in my head was changing so those tunes have affected my life quite a bit. Only in a good way that is! -- Venetian Snares is brilliant! Aaron is a genius, I got to see him live that very same year I missed Mondo Cane.

Why thank you, that's a very nice thing to say :] Oh yes, Mike Patton is as near to god as it can get. Have you heard his other projects, Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom? All great, haha, also his freaky single albums. And feel free to steal all you want! Recommendations... Hmm. I don't know how very off I go but based on your library I think you could like for example Guillemots, Skybox, The Cribs, Kishi Bashi... Have you hear 'Genesis' by Grimes? If not, I recommend that track with all my heart. And I see that you've listened to some Arab Strap, check out to their songs 'The First Big Weekend' and 'The Shy Retirer', they are brilliant :) I can hint you whenever something comes to mind, sometimes it's surprisingly hard to recommend music out of a blue because I really want my recommendations to fit the person they're given to, haha.

Cool, thank you! Well great minds think alike don't they, haha... Yeah I can only imagine the amount of upkeep that blue hair requires, some years back I dreamed of coloring mine too but then I decided to keep it this way until nature does its business and my natural color turns into something similar of a highway :-)

Oh. Hello! Wow. I'm speechless. I can really be annoying too but more than that I'm just very boring - yet I'm glad you like my taste in music, I like yours too. And yes it was me stating that your pieces are magnificent. But they really are. I really wish I had a talent like you do! And it really is a pleasure to cyber meet you, Fran.

They sure are! When I heard the last line of 'Cynicism' I was like, 'YES I LIKE THIS'. 'Cynicism isn't wisdom, it's a lazy way to say that you've been burned, It seems if anything you'd be less certain after everything you ever learned.' x

Really interesting! The guy sounds so much like the dude from The Hold Steady. In return, I recommend a band called Nana Grizol. Their album 'Ruth' is ace, particularly the first 4 songs. x
