While I'm here, I'll also pass on a little gem (if I may): They also have a beautiful album 'Alone Alone' up on Spotify.

Hey stranger - just had a good read through your top 2012 list: It's the first one I've seen (and there's been many) where I actually own any of the albums. Top 3 are right on song, and I look forward to working my way through the rest (hopefully before the end of this year!). Happy New Year Si, I hope it brings much happiness and even more auditory bliss your way :)

Hey, I saw you on My Jerusalem's profile - they are amazing right? One of my favorite bands… I found them through DeliRadio and just wanted to show you the website. Great way to find new bands plus listen to your favorites, like My Jerusalem. Heres a link to their listening station and their profile if your interested:

I *loved* the gig, it was very...real. JK was in a bit of a state (as were a lot of people) and doing his best Joaquin Phoenix impression we couldn't help but notice. Music was utterly brilliant - I'm left with sufficiently ringing ears and a serious girl crush on Ashley. Bring on Lanegan and Twilight Singers =D

I thought the odds that you'd review MJ before the London gig were slim to none...I should never have doubted! I've been quietly anticipating tonight, now I'm watching the clock like a mad woman.

Damn, I only just saw this! I'm sure Friday will still be fine. Cheers for the heads up, much appreciated - I'm liking this somewhat consistent Lanegan touring =)

Purely out of interest - ballpark, how many albums would you say you owned?

'Really?!' she squeals like a 4 year old - I was only daydreaming last night that it might pop up somewhere. Amazing. When I listen to the Melbourne gig, whilst loving it of course, I can't help feeling it lacking, and yearn to relive the Chapel. My fingers are firmly crossed for you!

I'm still basking in Him: I was so completely in awe the entire performance that I literally lost all awareness of my faculties: I'm sure people meditate for years to reach that kind of state! My only teeny tiny gripe is the lack of interaction, but maybe that's just how He works. Amazing about your run-in's afterwards. The Melbourne recording for sale was my weird moment, as it's my home town. Perfection! =)

Grand write-up of the Lanegan Islington gig. It was as close as I'll ever get to heaven.

It'd be more like 5000 if I was sticking my head down people's toilets, especially in my part of town! Klein albums arrived in the post today and I'm feeling very complete. I'd love to see him but I really need to put a lid on the gigs at the moment, I keep squandering my (invisible) travel fund. Was going to say tell me how it is, but I see you have a music blog so I'll be sure to keep my eyes peeled. Nice...

I have to stop and pay homage to this page, where I hereby tripped and fell into Jeff Klein...consequently staying up until 4.30am absorbing his albums like some sort of drug and then not going to work today because I thought I was too tired, but really because I'm just a hopeless addict who wanted more. A cheque in lieu of lost earnings and broken heartstrings would be appreciated, 500 quid should cover it. Cheers.

Living on Manchester/Cheshire border - so I have the advantages of nice green hilly stuff to drive round and look at, but also nice shops. Single. 7 Tattoos. Used to be 8, but one fell off .

Older readers might notice that I have altered this in a very cunning and subtle way. this is because I miscounted my own tattoos. This is no doubt someone else's fault.

I have also still given up smoking (again, and almost 10 years now though the following still applies), so any question more complicated than "what did you have for your tea yesterday?" will unfortunately be met with a string of expletives of the sort not heard since the Queen was told she now has to pay tax.

Owns the 6 Days From Tomorrow blog.
