First impressions: Sky Blue's first half is too much like Epicloud for me. Second half is much more interesting, starting out with the amazing Sky Blue, now that stuff's quality. Also digging Rain City, at least the first half that actually contains music. Dark Matters sounds as layered as Decon at times, but it also means it has a lot of stuff going on at the same time. Hoping to listen to the dialogue-less version of Dark Matters to rule out which one I prefer. So far, War Princess and Earth are rocking me.

Not cool enough yet, hah! But any excuse other than "Skewl is 2 hard" wouldn't do it. I'm aiming for a degree of sorts in Electronics, im currently on my 6th semester (out of 8) and it's been the hardest one yet.

Thank you, and you too! A few new albums came out this week, so it'll be a good week for sure. Just waiting 'til I I have enough energy and am in the right mood to get a first listen of Casualties in... :)

Hey, Ayreon is my life! It's my number one artist! And I preordered the album when I could. I only wondered one thing. Rumours said that it would be less heavy than the Ayreons that came before. Is this true? :O Still I would probably love the shit out of it!

I am aware that there is a concept but considering it covers their whole discography I haven't looked into it properly yet...

I've tried songs from their other albums but I just can't get it really. A lot of people seem to say that the vocalist is the biggest hurdle, but I loved his voice from the first time I played Ascension.

Nice. There's too little uplifting Post Rock out there. Make it one more record to look forward to. Also, what's that about Coheed & Cambria? Are their latest albums that good?

Really enjoying it, more than I thought I would. Haven't listened to Coheed before these two and I'm really impressed; Domino, Evagria, Gravity's Union, Mothers of Men, Sentry... They're all pretty amazing.

I didnt' know what it was, it seems to be a compilation. A nice one, at that. They seem to be at the Internet Archive, all 11 of them. The one with The Evpatoria Report is here http://archive.org/details/LostChildren034

Don't take my scrobbles as a serious representation of how much music I listen to. My mp3 player doesn't scrobble, neither do my cd/vinyl plays, and half the time I don't even turn on my scrobbler while at the computer.

Just imagine more Townsend. Much more Townsend.
