    for sure. vengeance sets the bar incredibly damn high. used to listen to that album every morning while driving to work and guzzling coffee. great album for when you need to get your adrenal glands pumping furiously. but yeah, hoax play some pretty stompin' hardcore. give them a spin if you get the chance.

    awesome, thanks a lot man, totally jazzed about it. I feel like I've gotten a bit better at honing my shit and maintaining focus on a project, hopefully I'll get some of that newer stuff online soon. and yeah it's a charcoal/conte/pastel drawing, scanned with a twee bit of shoopin' (the original drawing doesn't have the text on it)

    nice. i don't understand all the disappointment with the new tragedy record. clearly it's a pretty big departure in style from traditional d-beat sound to more 90's swedish death metal and doom, but it retains the same apocalyptic atmosphere that makes tragedy so great to begin with. personally i think it's their best work. although vengeance is a masterpiece in it's own rite. also, highly recommend seeing hoax if you get the chance. saw them last year and it was pure violent madness.

    yeah, sorry has a really raw honest energy to it. foolishly missed the opportunity to see white lung play here a couple years ago when they were still relatively unknown, so really looking forward to catching them this time around. mannn, that chaos in tejas lineup is nuts. are you going for all 4 days? & who are you most excited to see? wish i could fly back down south for that but probably can't afford to. maybe i'll just go full crust and hop a freight train with a bindle over my shoulder.

    it truly was a spectacle. love how they closed with locust star and everyone just went wild. especially the keyboardist haha. also, cop cars and ambulances outside the venue were a nice touch
