We've really gone up in compatibility since I last saw you. And I remember you were one of my inspirations for putting pictures in my "About Me" section.

No problem. What do you think of the new MGMT? I could never get that into the first one but I love this new one.

I hear you! My dad gave me a copy of Bringing It All Back Home when I was in sixth grade - within a day had learned all the words to both Subterranean Homesick Blues and It's Alright Ma. I was head over heels.

Thank you for trying to find a picture with as little Meg White as possible to stick in your little sidebar of pictures.

Part two was PG tracks, completely reworked with a symphonic orchestra. Unbelievable! See the tracklist: 13. San Jacinto 14. Digging In The Dirt 15. Wallflower 16. Downside Up 17. Rhythm Of The Heat 18. Blood Of Eden 19. Signal To Noise 20. Washing Of The Water (Melanie solo) 21. Darkness 22. Solsbury Hill 23. Don't Give Up 24. In Your Eyes 25. The Nest That Sailed The Sky Can you imagine Darkness, Rhyth of the Heat or Digging in the Dirt without drums or guitars. These were whole new tracks. some of them, moving to no end. I almost shed tears on San Jacinto and Darkness. The show last for 2'45", can you imagine that. PG seemed to be pleased with the result. I mean it was a première for him. This was immense, my friend. You'll be rewarded, for sure... :) Do't you have any possibility to attend one of his show in the US this Spring?

Oh my, it was beyond all my expectations! Amazing, in every way. I'm not sure I can find the words to describe my feelings yet. Fisrt he played all scratch my back in the Cd's running order. Even the songs 'm not too keen on on the record hit a whole new level live. It actually was in a recording studio, with 70 musicians and you could hear every hiss on each violin or the softest breath in PG's voice. I mean, ther's no way the condistions could have been better. But it was only part 1...

I consider Joseph Arthur to be some kind of genius. He produces A LOT of music, some better than oother, though. I'd recommend "Come to where I'm from" and "Redemption's son" (his 2nd and 3rd albums) or the EP "Vacancy" but it's hard to find. But beware, these are mind-blowing albums :D

i can understand that. i'd venture to guess that you don't like the songs that [artist]Kyp Malone[/artist] sings on, as opposed to [artist]Tunde Adebimpe[/artist].

even though that kid's opinion of scratch my back is total nonsense, it doesn't make the quality of tv on the radio mutually exclusive with it. i tend to agree with most of your shouts, but i think it's a stretch to call tv on the radio utter crap.
