    Sat 25 Aug – Steve Fest - Grand Opening

    Steve Thompson played 10+ tracks with an even mix of Allusions and the as yet unreleased NoVa. Steve was also joined by friends Dave Trinh on Saxophone and Tony Regola on Bass, each of whom added their own piece to the first ever Live ST performance. Steve did not disappoint those on hand, the acoustic set had genuine fidelity to CDs. It was a great performance which one day after he's made it, he'll think about those humble beginnings in Uniontown, PA.

    Some of you have been talking trash saying I only listen to top 40 songs. Which obviously could not be further from the truth, lets look at a quick breakdown of my top 10 Listened to Tracks.....

    Overall Top Tracks
    1 Steve Thompson Thoughts Assemble -- 29
    -- Will one day be top 40..
    2 Klaxons Golden Skans -- 23
    -- This on the radio? are you kidding me?
    3 +44 When Your Heart Stops Beating -- 22
    -- Ok Poppy thats 1
    4 Carbon Leaf Desperation Song -- 21
    -- Carbon Leaf != top 40
    5 Regina Spektor Fidelity -- 20
    -- Fairly Popular, thats 2
    6 Rise Against Ready To Fall -- 19
    -- Not on the Radio
    7 Dave Matthews Band Two Step -- 18
    -- Yes, Dave Matthews does not rock, but I enjoy this song. That's 3
    7 Carbon Leaf On Any Given Day -- 18
    -- Carbon Leaf != top 40
    9 Carbon Leaf I Know the Reason -- 17
    -- Carbon Leaf != top 40
    10 Carbon Leaf Learn to Fly -- 16
    -- Carbon Leaf != top 40

    Just because I do not listen to whole album does not make it top 40. I am just not willing to sit through 8 bad songs to listen to four good ones.
  • Whoa Nelly!

    I have probably said this to you before but, I really prefer Nelly Furtado when she wasn't such a whore I mean her album title is Loose (Loose), I mean come on! Her songs off of Whoa Nelly (Whoa Nelly) were so much cleaner and better than her current pop whore kick. Though sadly I still enjoy her songs. So in summation stay true to your roots and don't be a whore.
