Have you ever listened to Johnny Foreigner? I feel like you could enjoy them immensely.

Nah I'm not going to splendour unfortunately, wish I could because the line up is so great. You're so lucky that you're going

Yeah, similar kind of response to you. Definitively have gotten MUCH more into it after listening to it more! I bought earplugs yesterday so I am all set. Yeah, I am now regretting not going haha. Sometimes it is fun being in an environment like that. I am assuming they played a late set, which would definitely have brought it out more naturally.

That is true! Ahh... Cloud Nothings :) I really do like Attack On Memory! Yeah, my friend in America saw them live and swears to me he lost part of his hearing after a MBV concert but that it was soo worth it!, You Made Me Realize is one of my favourites, I am so hyped! Yeah, I should probably do the same. Apparently their new album is going to be released very soon. The idea of possibly hearing some of their new stuff live is very overwhelming especially considering I never thought I would EVER see them live. I just realised MBV will be playing at the I'll Be Your Mirror Festival along with some other cool bands that I am planning on seeing or do want to see. I do however prefer gigs to festivals most of the time. Yeah, I think I will give it a miss but I am optimistic for next year. There are so many great festivals in America I really want to go to like Burning Man and of course, Coachella!

Yeah, me too, I don’t know how I didn’t pass out!...I am seriously considering going to Barcelona, FUCK timetables and routine, man. Hahaha. I would not want to go alone though and I have asked a couple of people and they are like “be realistic, go another time, there will be more festivals with epic lineups”…not so sure though. As for Laneway, I have not bought a ticket. I looked at the lineup and there are some okay bands there that I would not mind seeing. I suppose you never really know how you feel about a band until you see them live, partially a reason why I don’t watch music videos before I listen to a song or album, most are pretty pretentious and it can sometimes be hard to see past that. Having said that, if I had to pick a couple of bands from that lineup I wanted to see more so live they would probably be Alpine and Yeasayer. I suppose I don’t want to go that desperately considering I have not bought a ticket. How about you?

Indeed, I am going. YES! Still can’t believe they are coming. Freaking out right now, just found the BEST festival line up. Seriously, I think you will choke when you open this: http://consequenceofsound.net/2013/01/primavera-sound-2013-lineup-revealed-blur-my-bloody-valentine-and-wu-tang/

That's so gnarly. Did you escape unscathed? Aw that sucks, those are so great on the album. New stuff though, god. I wish I was there, it would have been so tight and well-driven. Sigur always puts me in that near-sleep state haha. Oh yeah, MBV songs are really weird and you need like a million $150+ pedals to make it work so at the moment it's not sounding that great hahaha. Nice. I've got tickets to Spunk Tones (Beach House and Sharon Van Etten) in Bangalow but it's a fortnight before I turn 18 so it's gonna be a bit dodgy to try and get in, but hopefully it's all okay. I emailed the organiser and he said it should be okay anyway, so fingers crossed. Yeah, then BDO, MBV, Cat Power and Neil Young. I totally wanna go to Nick Cave but it's the night after Neil Young and I don't really wanna make 2 Brissy trips in 2 days. God yes, I can't wait. My facebook is www.facebook.com/imokumo if you want to add me.

Yes, it was so wonderful. To be honest, I quite like some of TKOL (Separator and Give Up The Ghost mainly) so I was kinda into the newer stuff they played. I cried during those two, Climbing Up the Walls and There There. Oh man, Idioteque went off! Probably the best 3rd encore of my life. Oh Harvest! I totally wanted to go. I bet the Grizzly Bros blew everyone away. I can't imagine how good they would have been. Did they play Southern Point? I love that live. Sigur would have been sweet too. I'd probably have gone to see Santigold as well. Apparently she was pretty fun. I've been learning a bunch of MBV songs on guitar in anticipation for February. Ugh. I can't even believe they're touring here, it just doesn't feel real!

That's awesome! I love intimate gigs like that. I can imagine. I can also imagine myself dropping the ball quite a bit in regards to actually finishing my assignments. That's good. I'm glad stuff is going well for you. Dude how sweet was Radiohead?! I openly weeped twice and teared up another 2-3 times. Absolutely perfect (although I guess they could have done Karma or something too, I was keen for a 15,000 voice singalong). What did you think of it?

That's all good, I only check mine once or twice a week. Haha yeah, I only found out about it about 5 minutes before I sent it to you, but I had something on for school so I couldn't go :( Did you go and/or are you looking forward to tomorrow night? I've been good! School's really close to finishing so apart from the stress of being thrown into the deep abyss of adult life, it's been fun. How's stuff on your end? I think so, there's just the preference changing a bit later on left. Ah sweet! You must quite enjoy communications then. What's it like?

That's awesome! Oh cool, I just put in a uni application for a Bachelor in Communications haha. Yeah I'm basically dealing with uni applications and stuff right now. Mostly journalism-related things but with environmental science-related backups. Haha the Death Grips mosh will be a true test of stamina. I got pulled out of the CC mosh 2 years ago because some guy was practically beating up on me without actually meaning to. It was pretty rough where I was standing though. Sweet, thanks :) God, I can imagine! Basically every band I'd had a thing for the previous year was on the bill. Such a shame it was 18+, I'd have really loved to go. The lineup did look pretty impressive for this year too, just not exactly to my taste as the last one haha. I'm sure they will, I'm just not that happy with the direction Beach House has been taking lately. I miss the Devotion days, heh. Yeah Grimes was so expensive! I probably wouldn't have gone anyway - I'm not a big enough fan to pay that price haha.

Sorry for the late reply! I haven't been on in a few days. Oh congrats! What do you do (if you don't mind me asking)? Yes, standing too. I know, it's like all my dreams come true to have been within eye-sex distance of Thom's bung eye. CC and AnCo are on my BDO list too, probably Death Grips too just for the fun of it. Aw man! I'm totes jealous. I hate that so many good 18+ shows are right before my birthday. I can't go to Harvest OR Beach House :'( Ooohh this song is cool. Do you have a favourite album of hers? I might have a bit more of a listen. Yeah, 2011 was amazing and in my opinion it's been on a steady decline. All my 14 y/o dreams when Bat For Lashes was announced, and I didn't really wanna risk missing shows because of my birthday being right in the middle. POND should be good too, but that's about it :/

True! I've been a bit MIA for a few months lol. Got tix to Radiohead! Paid a great deal for them... Also Blink 182 & Big Day Out. Considering Laneway due to Alt J & other awesomeness.

Hey man! I'm good, how are you? Oh yeah, since last week I've had Grouper, Radiohead is next, then Big Day Out, Laneway (a little indifferent to most of the lineup but it's on my birthday so why not haha) and then yes My Bloody Valentine! Dude, I'm crazy excited. What else do you have lined up?
