Hahaha...life is never what you expect it to be;)it's full of surprises;)are you trying to say that funky beats can't be emotional?come on;);P...I love this album. I listened to the rest of Buckethead's albums, but some of them are just not really convincing...they are too electronic for me...but 'Colma' is just perfect...can't say anything bad about any song from this album;)

Hahaha...it's a bit of a challenge to recommend any music to the professional musician, but I'm dare enough to do that so...;);P...have you ever listen to Buckethead?if not you should start from "Colma" ...it's definitely one of my favourite albums ever, but if somehow you happened to do not like it you can always take a revenge and recommend me some other crap;);P

Vet inte var jag fick nys om det. Tycker dock att plattan är riktigt obehagligt sjuk och bra. Death pierce me.... Är sångaren så störd som en del rykten säger, de värsta rykten fattar man ju att dom inte stämmer men ändå...

Descrizione

When I was 6 years old my brother sat me down in front of the stereo. Gave me a pair of headphones and put on a record. What I heard in the speakers was a voice with lots of authority saying...

“Woe to you, oh Earth and Sea,
for the Devil sends the beast with wrath,
because he knows the time is short...
Let him who hath understanding reckon the Number of the Beast for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty six."

My heart stopped beating and my blood froze. New to this phenomenon called music you could say I got off on the wrong foot directly.
From here on it would only get worse. A year later I saw some guys on the tv with the frontman in black/grey hair eating raw meat singing how he wants to be somebody.
And by seeing this I knew exactly what I wanted in life.

Several awakenings like the ones mentioned above would occur after this. And by the time I discovered Slayer I thought it was about time I got a guitar.

Said and done. My Fame Hondo was black and shiny. Yet I couldn’t get it to sound like Iron Maiden nor Slayer. Although some of my playing reminded of a band called Misfits. So I tried to play along to some of their songs and that lead me to several “aha-moments”. So after lots of practice my playing would end up sounding like Slayer.

I started playing in a band but at the time noone else in the band wanted to play as brutal as I did. So I found another band that was more into the style I wanted to play. But when things finally started going in the right direction the drummer and the bass player completely changed their direction and went on to some Jazz-metal shit.

Some months later I joined Nominon and here I was home. Death metal with the roots in thrash metal. We recorded our first album in Sunlight studios where we could get the sound we were looking for at the time.
After a couple of years Nominon lost the bass player we had and we found someone to take his place in Lenny Blade. Lenny had another band called Incinerator, a thrash metal act. Incinerator needed a guitar player at the time so we kind of swapped duties. I started playing guitar in Incinerator and Lenny started playing bass in Nominon.

After almost 10 years in Nominon and 7 years in Incinerator I got tired of shredding death and thrash metal riffs and wanted to try something new.
I was asked by a Stockholm based act called Rise and Shine to fill in for their guitar player who just recently had quit the band.
At the time it looked like Rise and Shine was going somewhere with a strong label and music that might reach a bigger audience than dirty death metal ever will.
But with a lot of trouble with the label nothing ever happened. During almost two years of negotiating with the label we finally recorded an album. The rest of the members wanted me to move to Stockholm in order to be able to practise on a more frequent basis. I didn’t want to move so we went separate ways. And at this point I was ready to put my guitar in a dark corner in the cellar. And I did so for a while.

But after meeting Emil at a party he started discussing how he wanted to create something new since he was tired of the situation in Marduk. Me and Emil had a past in Nominon so I knew we would get along both musically and agree on the amount of booze that should be drunk during one weeks time.
Emil and Legion started doing some riffs and I joined them to arrange some of the songs they had ideas for. Brought some of my own material and started working on what later became “Ninewinged Serpent”.
In Devian the pace was fast. Much thanks to a disciplined working moral. We were all good musicians with one goal, to make the best music possible and to tour like hell.
So we did. I got to tour with some of my inspirations as a youngster. Bands like Samael, Vader, Deicide and Unleashed. We handled almost every European country and my time in Devian will for sure be something to remember.
Two albums and three tours later something started to happen. First of all we wanted to change our music to something a bit more easy listening.
We finished material for a third album but this is when things took a sudden turn. Our label decided to drop us, we didn’t sell enough albums. And almost at the same time Legion decided to leave the band.

We did a promo with 3 songs with me on vocals which can be heard on our myspace page.
After a few turns downs from labels I felt it was enough. I was tired of playing death metal after 20 years of doing so. So I hammered my final nail in my extreme metal coffin. And I don’t think I’ll ever return unless someone comes up with the idea of doing something so sick and bizarre that I just can’t turn down the offer. But then we are not talking music anymore. And if someone is up for it, just let me know.

The last three years I've realised that rock'n'roll is what speaks to me and what I believe is music with feeling.
I joined luciferian themed YEAR OF THE GOAT for their last album "Angels Necropolis" but parted ways to fully concentrate on THE HORSEHEAD UNION where i've been spreading gasoline smelling rock since 2009.
This is my story. If you happen to see me on the road some day, just buy me a pint and I’m sure we’ll get along.
