  • First freakin time doin this

I have never had a journal I would update online before, so I might as well give this a go and see how it works out for me. (Feels weird not knowing what or who I am typing to, or even if anyone will read it(reply or comment if you do read!(even if it's something stupid or rude(I won't judge))))

So I was sitting here tagging some music of mine through this program I got online. It's some sort of weird obsession of mine to make sure all my MP3's and other music files are organized neatly and concisely. Sorta like someone having a really messy shelf full of CD's... it's nice to know all my stuff is labeled correctly album, song and artist-wise.

As I'm doing this I threw a Pearl Jam concert on in iTunes, and it just played in the background. Kinda weird but Pearl Jam is the only band that I can really just throw on and have playing without me consciously thinking about it. Almost everything else, especially new bands/albums tend to make me anxious. I keep checking how long songs are and how much time before the album's over. That's why I often like album openings more than closings. Cause I actually make it through the first half before turning to another.

There are some exceptions... such as Frances the Mute, or Franz Ferdinand. But mostly... I think album openers are better than closers for me.

Maybe I should start listening to them in a backwards order?
