I always miss seeing these shouts haha. Yeah it's a killer album, they never disappoint. I've never seen them live but I definitely plan to next time they come out. Seen them live before?

Thoughts on the new Dillinger album?

Heh I don't know about that, Converge killed it! But I didn't really know much of OMG's stuff beforehand. They were also nuts though, brilliant.

Whenever man, I love collaborating but with the one project right now it's sporadic at best, I kinda finish the parts I'm working on and let them sit. I guess what I have now is demo-quality. I mean only if you want to... just for fun, I'd be keen to fit something to what you write and if you like it then das cool. I don't listen to a hell of a lot of tr00 bm, most of it is at least slightly tinged with post-black or prog or symphonic stuff. An Autumn For Crippled Children are really good, especially their album Everything, and our soon-bassist recommend Woods Of Desolation who I remember liking, they're from Australia I believe

Send me some shit man, if you're keen. I'm trying to fit in as much work over the summer as I can to hopefully save up for some decent mics, for both me and my buddies. I'm thinking of buying a couple of drum mic kits from Shure so I'll have enough drum/amp mics, an extra bass drum amp that sounds really cool for a bass amp, and then all I'll need is a couple of condensers and more home-made mic stands. Which are sturdier than anything you can buy, and infinitely cheaper. Despite the brand, muh drums are still pretty entry-level though some of the cymbals aren't, yet that setup would probably lead me to make good-sounding drum files. In other words if you want to make it a two-man or even one-and-a-half man metal project, why not. I need an excuse to practice more

Yeah I honestly just think it's a mess. I'll re-listen to it sure but I've done that before. It's been ages though and when I was last listening to them I enjoyed their first two albums much more, never got around to their 4th album, in fact I've never seen anyone talk about the band apart from Obscura. I play drums, mostly screamo/math rock stuff with a friend, we'll be joined by a bassist who we met on /mu/ in the new year who's moving here for uni. I'm open to playing mostly anything though, and looking into teaching myself sound engineering, bought a little mixer and have some mics here to play around with, I always set up the recording for when we write and jam. I've been adding to a huge list of parts of songs that catch my ear that might make for cool samples/loops so I can play around making dark instrumental hip-hop/trip-hop/g-funk style beats, but Ableton looks scary and I haven't found the time yet. Ignore the fact I'm listening to Dream Theater now btw

Fuck that's a sick shirt. I dunno really, I don't like Krallice and I haven't heard enough Liturgy to judge, nor have I listened to Deafheaven at all. All of it's on my to-do list though

That gang are notoriously good with their packaging, even with CDs. And they smell great. A whole bunch of their stuff made up most of my year's CD spending

Thanks for the offer brah but I've already got all their stuff, most of it on CD. inb4 CD. Damnation is one of my mum's favourite albums. She fucking loved Boris when they came here too.
