    Hello Eric. I'm Johnny a dj guy from Texas. I love many kinds of great music from everywhere & era. I have mainly worked stations in Houston, Tx. I am quite aware of radio & all the BS that goes/& has gone with it. I worked for so many stations & formats. The listeners were the most fun, plus the music when I had the freedom to do what I wanted. That music freedom was a hard thing to "Pull Off" on Houston commercial radio. I did that once & fought/put my job on the line & it worked!!! I worked for a few good people & many fools who had no clue what they were doing. You think it was insane back then. Have you looked around the past ten years. It's beyond horrible. Nothing there for me as a listener at all. It was interesting reading your comments. Sounds like we would communicate quite well. I have many stories from many stations. What a ride it's been! Not all fun, believe me. I'm happy to find you! Johnny

KIKX (106.6 FM) is a radio station on Route 66 in Williams, AZ. It's format ranges from the hits of 1890 to the songs of today and everything in between. It's not unusual to hear Glenn Miller followed by R.E.M. When you're bored with hearing "Aqualung" for the trillionth time, listen to us for the great music you won't hear anyplace else. And to add to that we allow our DJ's to be themselves. No stale reading off cards disc jockeys here. Real personalities like Jonathon Brandmeier, Dr. Demento, Kat Crabtree, Cait Brennan, and Eric Paul Johnson. We play the most music because we play everything. Williams radio KIKX on Route 66.
(Really, I'm a Cartoonist, writer, musician, Legomaniac who likes to play radio. I'm in college now to stop playing, and start living radio.)
