Very nice. Yeah Circa tends to have the same effect for me as well. haha i can understand that nostalgic feeling you get with Death Metal. It always trips me out when i listen to my old ipod from yearssss ago. In fact, i had that feeling just the other day when "Get Well Soon" by Reggie and the Full Effect came on. :P

Yeah, i heard that his character has that mysterious vibe to him. I like your philosophy; simple yet effective. :) Perhaps some may find your work "weird" (as you claim) but hey, i can always appreciate raw creativity. What are some artists and/or songs that you listen to while you create your art?

does the inspiration for your art stem from (if specifically at all)?

Madoka Kinoshita's work is awesome! The way she creates the eyes is great. I think my favorite element though, is her use of thick outlines. A little added depth that i think works flawlessly with her aesthetic. You should check out Marumiyan ( , Leon Alegria ( , Evan Rosato ( , and If you haven't already; pretty cool stuff. Oh and the first two artists also have deviant art pages as well, in case you were wondering. Ah, you've been watching some good films! Watched We Need To Talk About Kevin the other night as well as The Descendants. Enjoyed them both. Haha it's funny you recommend to watch Drive because everyone i know who's seen it has told me not to waste my time. Of course, i like to see things for myself and have my own opinion on it so i intend to watch it anyway. Thank you for reminding me heh :P I'm not sure if i've ever asked you (most likely yes) but where

Oh wow, that's fantastic! I wish you the best of luck that the skateboards thing works out. I can't remember if you mentioned any previous exhibition work but is this mini one your first? Ferris Plock's work is some amazing stuff. All the intricate detail really goes a long way in my opinion. I've been alright, thank you for asking. As for movies, i must admit that i've been slacking in that dept. but the ones i can recall are Beautiful Losers, Hachikō Monogatari, and Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. What movies have you seen? Oh and how did your New Years go?

The ending seemed a bit (for lack of a better word) rushed? but i still enjoyed it. I still have to watch Like Crazy. When i read about it a few weeks back, it intrigued me. Its just funny seeing Anton Yelchin doing another movie where hes in love with a foreign girl (in this case, the girl is british). I recognized his face but most recently from when i watched Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac.

Kiefer Sutherland hissy fit? Definitely watching soon, haha. I just watched Puncture, with Chris Evans. Have you heard of it?

Yeah, i enjoyed it too. Funny that you mention that movie. Its been on my "Must Watch" list for some time now and i was just thinking the other day about how i have to make progress on that list haha. Whats your opinion on Melancholia?

oh shit! i'll have to check that out pronto. And yr a real BAMF now that you got a camera, and a really fun one at that. Well, whenever you develop them photo's let me know. I'd love to see, sometimes cameras like that can produce really cool affects like natural light leaks and stuff. Oh and I forgot to mention, Spirited Away, Amelie, and The Science Of Sleep. The Science Of Sleep is one of my favorites. All the movies you mentioned i'm going to start downloading immediately!

Why thanks, and obv you have great taste as well if you've seen the select few i listed. And as far as the foreign film goes, there is I just recently watched that is superb, it's from Sweden called let the right one in. It's probably the only recent vampire flick that deserves any recognition. Holla @ me with some too!!

haha well i'd apologize but i'm not sorry! They deserve more recognition. :) Apple Acre is a really good album. Have you listened to their newest album, Dracula? It came out in September. Its more "poppy" than their familiar folk sound but still good i believe. I listened to Trippple Nippples and i must say, catchy stuff! Definitely had me grooving aha :P Oh! I finally got a chance to listen to Major/Minor in its entirety. Of course, Thrice never ceases to amaze me but i fully agree with you about "Words in the Water". Reallyyyyy digging that song. Quickly shot up to my all time favs from them.

ooOOoo nice, thanks. i'll be sure to check out all of dem. since you mentioned rap, I forgot to mention you should check out some sage francis (human the death dance) and perhaps some aesop rock. they're both intelligent rap/spoken word. I of course have a long list of films you should see. I'll try and keep it short though! Obv any Wes Anderson is good, Submarine, Hesher, Wristcutters: A love story, Enter the void, Gummo, Catfish, Waking Life, Pi, Half Nelson, I Heart Huckabees, etc; I also have a list of foreign movies with subs if yr interested.

mmmhm film is more mysterious which ultimately means moar fun. As far as music goes check out crystal antlers (crystal antlers ep), some blonde redhead (23), and of course starfucker (reptillians album) they're all sure to bring out the inner beast in you. Also Earlimart is my all time fav so i'll always recommend that. Specifically their album Treble & Tremble. Any music you can recommend a sista as well?

Hmm, I think I enjoy film a lot more than digital, it feels more personal and I like the idea that you don't know what you'll get until you get to the dark room or to a walgreens (lawls). Next time you see any type of camera snatch it up! I'm sure you'll see another one again, Polaroids are always classic fun. & as far as deviant goes I think yr art is spectacular. You'll get more views soon enough! I like that gurrrrl a lot. I'm a huge fan of fantastic mr fox so I lose myself in her illustrations.
