This is not exactly a super sad song, but it does makes me sad. Hakuei's soft and painful vocals help a lot to the feeling, since the melody itself is not that sad. In 2008 UNDER CODE released a Tribute CD of Phantasmagoria's songs by the bands that were currently on the label. But how good were this tracks when compared to the original ones?

That song which name I've ranted as stupid is the song I've listen to. Is it bad as I feared? No. The melody is pretty catchy and I've found myself moving my head (slightly) to it's song. The melody is pretty much like Metamorphose without the use of electronic sounds, but most of the vocals ANNOY ME.
Why?
The effect on Riku's voice.
WHY USING A EFFECT THAT MAKES HIM LOOK LIKE A FUCKING ROBOT?! Why didn't need that on Phantasmagoria or chariots! He sings perfectly well without any effect!…

I got my ears on Silent to My Pain and it isn't my big surprise when I find out that the song isn't as horrible as the others.
The starting piano is very good (thought it lasts too long) and the tecnho effects too match the melody. The guitars are very good and I actually ENJOYED the start of the song.
But again, Riku's vocals are off and distant from the song's melody. He's more alive than on the lives, but isn't enough. But, gad, he's trying hard to make it sound good. At points he's able to do to…

This time they went for a move symphonic sound (with proves my theory about Lin being a Neo Classical/Symphonic Rock band) sounding a bit like a less Metal version of Versailles with a more listen-able symphony.

The melody itself is cool, but it drags too much, it takes a little more than 2 minutes for the song to get to the chorus and then it just feels like you came back to the start of the song and that I'm listening to it on a loop. And that's the main problem with Lin songs, they last too long. That worked…

Re-Traced is a 2010 EP of the Progressive Rock/Metal band Cynic which is formed by Paul Masvidal on vocals and guitars and Sean Reinert on the drums.
The EP is a reinterpretation of some of the songs featured on the band's 2008 album Traced in Air plus a new song called Wheels Within Wheels.
It has 5 tracks (including the new one) and like the previous albums of the band it falls into the category of Jazz Fusion, but sounding more Rockish than the previous, however it does not loses the magic of Cynic songs.

Futari no Hoshi is the newest mini-abum of the ex-Phantasmagoria guitarist JUN (you know, the pink haired one). When I first heard Futari no Hoshi and watched the PV I didn't say a thing because I wanted to listen to the song in context with the rest of the mini-album to be sure if I liked or not.
