....Aaaannnd, I lied. One More Thing. Do you care for ALT songs? If so, did you know Seiya Murai released an entire ALT album? I knew one was coming, but I didn't know it was out already! It is... Adorable, of course. Made me start obsessing over this song quite a bit, so... It's a fun listen, for sure. All depending on your tolerance level for A.I. Girls :) ...Oh yeah! One more thing! When you beat Pop'n Music Portable 2... I swear the whole game takes on this air of Mourning Someone/Something That Has Died, and it gave me the distinct impression that there won't be another console Pop'n Music ;_; Please let that not be so, Powers That Be ;_; I'd hate to think I'll never have the opportunity to play A.I. TETSUDOL ever :(

Totally worth it, too. All the trouble I went through to get the twenty additional songs, because the selection is really good! ...I won't spoil you about what's on there... Because, like, maybe when/if you ever get a copy of Pop'n Music Portable 2, and yours doesn't come with a code, I can share mine with you? I heard that you're allowed to input the code on two different PSPs, so maybe we could... Oh, and all I'll go on to say is? This could be the best song I've ever played on a Pop'n Music, in terms of how fun it is. _So_ much fun. I can manage a "No Bad" only on seven buttons though... Haven't even tried nine! Such a good song though. ..Which I heard was originally on a Guitarfreaks/Drummania...? Have you ever played it? Totally Amazing.

lets you download twenty additional songs for the game for free from the Playstation Store... Luckily for me, my copy came with a card and that complimentary code, but unluckily for me, I never went about connecting my PSP with the Internet, and you need to to access the Playstation Store, and man! It took me, like, three days and many hours to do this. Pain in the...! Because not only did I have to find my something-or-other modem password to connect to the Internet through. And that was difficult, because I didn't even know 1.)What it was, or 2.)Where to find it, but I also had to create a Japanese PSN account. Fun! Then, I had to figure out where to input the code. Easy enough? Then, I had to download two song packs. AND THEN. I had to figure out how to get the songs to load onto the game, because they totally weren't, and oh, thank goodness for the Internet, because I found just about all my answers with the help of it...!

The first one relied heavily on Japanese text, of course, but this one does all the more so sometimes I was unsure of what to do, and got stuck in quite a few places... Not that you'll have the same problems when you play it, because you're able to understand the language much more than I can, but I will give you a tip! When it doubt, press one of the... top trigger button things... You know, those clear buttons on the PSP...? What are those called...? Press one of those though. And they'll bring up a map. And when you're in doubt, talk to everyone who has a party hat on their head XD ..I mean, everyone wears party hats on the game, but when you bring up the big map, the only characters with party hats on are the ones you have to find and talk to because they trigger events to happen and whatever. And did you hear about how they get you on this game! To have inspired you to buy it when it first came out? The first press copies of the game came with this card that...

They have it on the site to add to your queue, but they're still like "DVD Availability Date Unknown". Eh...? Unless some Jerko has the only available copy hoarded in his bedroom or something... It's a shame, though. I really wanted to see that one... Oh, also, also! Thanks for the tip on where to buy an English translation of "Night on the Galactic Railroad" relatively inexpensively! I haven't been able to do it yet, but I will as soon as I can... It's kind of funny to think that you can get a copy of it for, like, seven dollars on Amazon Japan where it sells for about five times that price on regular Amazon... And! I've been playing Pop'n Music Portable 2 a bunch lately! I beat it, like, a couple of weeks ago, as a matter of fact, but erased my game and started a new one because I messed up in a couple of places and thought the only solution to correct my mistakes would be to start over... The game is... kind of complicated this time around?

..Wait a minute, you own "Le mode d'emploi"...?!? Awwwww! Where did you find a copy of it...?! So jealous! Nice gets, with "People People" and "Family Racing" too :) And Supercar! I haven't heard "A", but I'll assume it's good... By the way! I watched "Perfect Blue" the other day! I liked it quite a bit! But geez if it doesn't make you walk around with this song stuck in your head for days on end... I'm still walking around that way, myself... But, yeah, minus all the more... Adult bits, it was a terrific movie... Kon really communicated a great sense of... Terror and paranoia in it, you know? The plot may have been typical Thriller territory, but his presentation of it made it come off as being Fresh, I think... Bad news about "Millennium Actress" though... Unless I want to buy it myself, I probably won't be able to watch it any other way because Netflix doesn't carry it, for whatever stupid reason :(

but the song isn't even that interesting, to be honest, so maybe it isn't such a bad thing, that she only released this one thing :D But yeah, our dahlia _was_ produced by Nakata... I'm not sure how extensively, because I'm missing "le mode d'emploi" from my collection(I mean, owning a physical copy of it), but I know he produced the song "maxima!" from her "Musics for my Funeral" mini album, and I wouldn't be surprised to find out he produced this song too, because it was on the second Contemode compilation... But, yeah, two completely different dahlia's. You can think of them as being the Yoshiki produced Dahlia and the Shibuya-kei dahlia, if that helps. And if you happen to want more information about Shibuya-kei dahlia, her official home page is right over here.

Aha, I see you're listening to the same dahlia I do at the moment! And tagging her the exact same way I do, in an attempt for disambiguation, yes...? Or unique tagging, rather, so you aren't sharing her page with fifteen other dahlia's. The pains of very generic artist names :\ When you're scrobbling them to last.fm, anyway. ..But probably when you get into conversations about them too, because I bet if you were like "I listen to dahlia", you'd have to repeatedly say "No, not _that_ dahlia". ..Unless, of course, you were in a circle of Ultra-Hip people that knew exactly what dahlia you were talking about, instinctively. I've never had the opportunity to discuss her myself, really :( But anyway! No, our dahlia isn't produced by Yoshiki, to my knowledge... This Dahlia is, I guess, according to Amazon Japan... I don't know how many releases she's had out though.. I can only find evidence of this one single..

Oh yeah, and then there is the case of these two, apparently much more solid/reliable translations for the story... Take a look at those price tags ;_; You're so, so lucky you've been able to both read the book and see the film adaptation...! But thank you for thinking to recommend it to me, all the same :) It truly was a great recommendation! ..Just one that is a bit of a painful reminder to the fact I may never get to take you up on it :( I'll be replying to your other shouts later, I promise! I just had to address this newest one now, since the topic caught me off guard, with how funnily coincidental it was! Since another friend made that same recommendation to me a couple of weeks ago too..! So I had to go through this same sob story with him as well :D

...! I cannot even begin to tell you about how long I've wanted to see "Night on the Galactic Railroad" and the ongoing struggles I've had to reach that end ;_; The interest was first born out of Hosono's soundtrack, of course(which I really like, but I haven't heard it within the confines of the movie it was scored for, of course, so I can't comment too much about how well it fits or anything), but I haven't been able to find a copy of the movie that wasn't exorbitantly expensive because it's been out of print... I've had the same problem with the book it was based on, which I'm definitely interested in reading... There's this version available, but going by the reviews the translation is abominable, so I'm not sure if I should even be bothered...? How/where did you see the movie?
