The confusion comes from "UK gabber" and the Dutch's aversion to using the word "gabber". Deathchant made was called UK gabber by some people. Since it was definitely a more 'UK' (breakier, darker, less melodic) take on 'gabber'. But here in the Netherlands, the hardcore scene has been dissociating itself from the term 'gabber' since around the turn of the century. So when 'UK gabber' was being promoted in the Netherlands, Dutch promoters sold it as 'UK hardcore'. They probably had no clue that there already was a style with that name making rounds. So yeah, technically, "UK hardcore" IS the happy hardcore derived style.

Hellfish and The DJ Producer are actually Gabber / Hardcore artists inspired by the dutch hardcore scene, like Thunderdome, Masters of Hardcore etc. Uk hardcore is an entirely different scene - happy hardcore/early rave and its modern equivalent. Dougal & Gammer, Hixxy, Styles, Slipmatt Sy & Uknown etc, they're all in the Top Artists.
