What, you say? Two songs riff driven by a similar riff? Whoever has heard of that? Alert the gods of music!! ...But seriously, they're only similar because of that rhythmic background, and the riff is pretty simple and generic imo. I don't think you can even call that plagiarism. If anything, I'd say VERMIN is inspired by and actually improves upon Scars because Gazette built upon the rhythmic background and created the melody around it, making a more rounded song.
I wouldn't really call this some similarities. The song is too damn similar.Even if I like the song, lulz. I mean, even the bridge which is the only thing different from the studio version of Scars, is something X did on the live intros.
@Minoslaf: Some similarities - doesn't always mean plagiarism. But they admitted themselves to be the fanboys of X and LS (check "Shiver") so everything's ok for now. They have enough experience to compose songs of their own.
