I thought it the exact moment I've heard it for the first time and after half a year of listening to maudlin of the Well/Kayo Dot I know for sure. It's the best track ever written, period.

some people achieve 'genius' and refuse to come back down. I guess I understand what you are saying, though. I'm a simpleton at heart, excuse me.

If Toby had kept exploring this route, he'd just be another singer-songwriter making flowery acoustic guitar music, as opposed to the eclectic and unique avant-garde powerhouse he has evolved into. Inaccesibility comes with genius.

One of the best album closers ever.

i often wish Toby would have explored this route more fully with his music. Kayo Dot/Tartar Lamb can sometimes feel a little inaccessible...

It isn't cheesy, it doesn't suck, fantastic song. Though, motW has a little bit of cheese in other songs, I don't really mind, it kind of comes with the whole prog rock / prog metal thing. It almost is like a staple of the genres lol

It might be cheesy, it might suck. None the less it's the most goose-bump-inducing song i've ever heard. Especially when you've listened through all of "Bath" before it

Hmmm, The bass sounds like Stand Up bass, rather then electric. I could be wrong.

This is one of the most haunting songs ever recorded. Since I listened to Bath and LYBM this morning it's been stuck in my head all day, and I don't really mind that at all. I could probably listen to it for hours and not get bored of it.

The whole time I think about the name of the song. Why is it called "Geography"? I don't get the interpretation right.
