Well I don't think jj are going to be the ones profiting, Lil Wayne is. That's probably why I'm hearing that this might not make the album. Now that they're signed to an American label I'm guessing it'll be a lot harder to get away with using high-profile samples like that.
As for "lil wayne = profit", I don't think it's necessarily because it's him. I really don't like him on his own but when he's mashed-uped or put onto other tracks, it can sometimes sound pretty cool. It's not really the fact that it's lil' wayne that makes this jam sweet, I think it's rather the fusion of jj and rap that does it, I believe that any quality rap verse would be pretty cool if done correctly...they just happened to use lil' wayne.
