The FormatWell, I called that. Back in the middle of 2010, I was wondering what was becoming of my musical listening habits. Sure enough, they've gone down quite a lot over the past few years. I didn't even bother ranking anything from '10, '11, or '12 because... well, there just wasn't that much to rank. I've always known what my favorite albums of each year were (The Suburbs, Wasting Light, Safe Travels), but basically it seems like I'll stick to a few albums each year and the rest just disappoints me. Couple that with the fact that I discover FAR less artists out there than I used to, and that I'd rather be doing other things other than listening to music (like working, or... not working) and you have a recipe for diminishing music-listening. Let's catch you up to speed with what I CAN tell you about over the last few years though:
