That's cool, Luke, but I don't get much of a "Viking" vibe from this. Maybe I listen to too much metal...

I imagine some viking dudes belowdecks rowing some heavy oars, sailing across a dark, eerie sea. And then there's little sprinkles of light on the horizon--oh shit, land ho, goes the captain. So they're rowing with enthusiasm and vigor now, because they want to get to the port. But then it goes abovedecks and shows the captain, only he looks sad.

And we see from his perspective that the lights are actually creepy ghosts, pulling the ship toward them with magic powers. But he doesn't want his men to know their terrible fate, so he lied and said land ho. And he's here, grappling with his choice, his guilt, and split-screen to belowdecks, the vikings sitll rowing, because they don't know they're going to be killed by ghosts. And it slowly pans away from this, the ship getting closer and closer, mere inches away from the ghosts as the screen fades to black.

"I imagine a cloaked wizard wandering the side of a snow-covered hilltop. He carries a staff but he doesn't need it to walk. He's discovered something that he needs the common folk to see." lol i love this comment

What happened to the Lips after this glorious album?!? I wish they would play guitars again! This album is great even though it doesn't have much guitar on it, but I sure do miss the days of Hit To Death In The Future Head, Transmissions, Clouds...

I picture a slow-moving monorail on a track somewhere in space. I have no idea why.

I don't picture anything; I can see this music. It polishes my third eye.

I imagine a cloaked wizard wandering the side of a snow-covered hilltop. He carries a staff but he doesn't need it to walk. He's discovered something that he needs the common folk to see. But the blizzard is fighting him, and it's becoming clearer and clearer that his message was not meant to be delivered. The weather takes him down and he sees, in his head, the fate of everyone around him. He's too weak to help, so he's left to die in the cold snow, knowing that he tried his best to make a difference.
