Scottish soul singer Emeli Sandé kicked off her “Our Versions Of Events” European Tour (which includes France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and Italy) last night with a 1st gig in the Parisian capital, at “Le Casino de Paris” venue.
The opening part was made by Charlene Soraia, a London-based singer, who is famous for her Wherever You Will Go cover.
She arrived on stage, and introduced herself to us. She told us that she had studied French at school but didn’t remember much of it. She also said that it was her 1st time in Paris.
The 1st song she sang was "Ghost" and she went on with "Without Your Love" (a song she wrote when she broke up with her boyfriend). She continued with "Love Is The Law" (from her upcoming album) and finished with her cover of "Wherever You Will Go", which surprised us all and it received many applauses.
Charlene did a good opening part. …
