Since I’ve been an absolute Beatles junkie for about two years now, I decided it was time for a track-by-track review of their studio albums. In the coming time I will give my opinion on their twelve original UK LP’s plus the Magical Mystery Tour double EP. If I then have time left I might even do one on their non-album single releases too. That remains to be seen.
But for now, let’s start off with their first album: Please Please Me. Their famous debut album, often cited as one of the best selling debut albums of all time. In its wake it set off the cultural phenomenon of screaming girls with wet panties known as Beatlemania; first in England, then in Europe and finally in America and the rest of the world. Let’s see what all the fuzz was about.
1. I Saw Her Standing There (8,5/10)
