    This is one of those tracks that seems so slight at first. But then, all of a sudden, you find yourself singing in the shower, "I'm gettin' hungry.... hungry for MY kind 'o woman!" and then before you know it, you're hooked for life.

    Over time, I have found that the exact structure of "Getting Hungry" is what makes it so memorable. I just love this song.

    Here we have an energetic, almost trippy chorus coupled with almost skeletal verses of vocals with slight guitar (particularly underproduced). I don't think either would be terrible on their own and with the right planning. The problem is they aren't grafted well together at all and you've got an awkward overwhelm followed by an awkward anticlimax. Needs full production and realized execution. 3/5
