    For those that have doubts, this song is DEFINITELY about the Goonies. The Goonies was set in Astoria, Oregon. The last verse is a maaaaajor Goonies reference, too: "So long, Astoria I found a map to buried treasure and even if we come home empty handed We'll still have our stories of battle scars, pirate ships and wounded hearts, broken bones, and all the best of friendships And when this hourglass has filtered out its final grain of sand I raise my glass to the memories we had This is my wish And I'm takin' it back I'm takin' 'em all back "

    I remember going surfing every weekend that summer of 2003 (about 10 miles south of Astoria and about 5 miles north of where they filmed the restaurant scene in Goonies) while the love of my life sat on the beach and read her books and tanned her perfect skin. The love of my life walked away in 2005 and I haven't been back to the ocean since. You know what?, those were my dreams and wishes and they didn't come true, so I'm taaking them back. I'M TAKING THEM ALL BACK
