I TV on The Radio sono una band di rock alternativo statunitense molto aperta a sperimentazioni di vari generi, dal free jazz al soul, trip-hop ed electro. Formatisi a New york nel 2001 hanno realizzato vari EP debuttando con Young Liars nel 2003 e due album: Desperate Youth nel 2004 e Return to Cookie Mountain nel 2006 che li ha resi globalmente noti seppure sin dagli inizi siano stati supportati positivamente dalla critica.
Rolling Stone Magazine ha votato l’album come il quarto miglior disco dell’anno e Spin Magazine li ha nominati band dell’anno.
