This song is similar in style to Superstition...but I actually prefer it. Very funky, plus the Jackson 5 cameo and political message. Great song.

I like the video, but at the time it came out, I believed that the song was aimed at local politicians who sold out rather than serve the communities that supported them.

I was sure I wouldn't be the only one to see the similarity to Superstition. It sounds like a raw precursor.

This isn't a superstition re-make or a re-write, it is its own song. But if your must draw similarity's then it's an improvement on superstition. Don’t’ get me wrong I love superstition but this song is just plain better.

Stevie is too much of a genius to be doing Superstition remakes. Not one of his best

Too much of a "Superstition" rewrite.

Since this song was the only one chosen for the hit single from Fulfillingness' First Finale, it is strong enough to speak for the entire piece of work of this project, although the rest of the songs can speak volumes for themselves. I hated the fact that the other song were just outright 'ignored' by the radio media. Well, except for maybe 'Boogie On Reggae Woman', and 'Creepin'. And another small detail, did anyone notice the artwork of Stevie's accident with the tree-log from the truck, within the album cover graphics. Yes, this release is a treasure in itself. So 'Smile Please'.
