Biografia

“The human and musical path which drove us to the realization of this album is fully reflected in the sound mixture which characterizes the tracks it is made up of”, tells the band about “Symmetrical”, Odd Dimension’s debut album by for Scarlet Records.

The album develops into seven tracks that represent, even at a textual level, a sound path starting from very intense atmospheres and flowing into a milder close: a journey amid lights and shadows, good and evil, past and present all transfigured in the exchanges between a father and his son, led by a narrator into the interior journey within themselves.

The sound voyage of the boys from Alessandria starts in 2001 with the first steps towards the joining of their fondness in the metal music in its different expressions, from classic to progressive, genre their first compositions are oriented to.

“It wasn’t easy joining all the different compositive drives of those days together “, states Gigi Andreone, bass player of the band, going back with his memories to his first sessions with Federico Pennazzato (drums), Gianmaria Saddi (guitar) and Antonio Agate (keyboards), which were characterized from the very beginning by the will to unite harmonically their different background. After a reorganization as Antonio left the band, their musical route became more complete with the arrival of Manuel Candiotto on vocals. Their ideas materialized in late 2005 with their first EP “A New Dimension” , well acclaimed by the critics.
